Also, if Stan Kelly ever started trying to rhyme the players name with some corny like: "And from Wake Forest the man who be debuken, Ta ta ta ta Timmmmmm DUUUNcan." And not to mention turned the intro into some kind of childrens program with funny faces and weird twists on words like ME-CHIGAN. I'd shoot the man myself.

Although I agree. Stan Kelly is bad. Why not give that Crazy Lou guy the PA job?

Without a doubt, the Bulls during the second threepeat had the best announcer/intro video/music in the history of the NBA. I don't know if it will ever be matched.

are you serious? mason is one of the worst announcers i have ever heard in my life. i would rather have an announcing tag team of al michaels, jim lampley, and brent musberger doing intros for every game i ever listened to than to hear that idiot again.

Can't be worse than that kid Denver has announce the lineups.

Michael Cooper nutrode? Give me a break man.... we're not talking Devean George here.
Yeah, and Paul Silas was a key of the Sonics championship in addition to the ones he won with Boston, but I'm not gonna get into a whottt-spat.

Greatest roleplayer of all time, yeah,
    Testify my man!

Good question. I've noticed him grab it a few times during the playoffs. Might need a cleanout come seasons end.

I think Horry probably deserves a spot in the HOF. I'm sure if someone crunched the numbers they would find that his career averages in the last five minutes of a game are probably astronomical. With that said I wonder if he'll get that love from the voters.

And dear god I want to shoot Mason out of a ing cannon and across the Canadian border and make those Canucks have to deal with his annoying ass. After hearing all the hoopla about this guy before game three I was actually kind of intrigued to see this guy at work, and I found myself changing the channel rather quickly. Maybe it's just that we Spurs fans are too "plain vanilla" to get it, but how on earth have the Pistons fans not got sick and tired of that annoying crap, risen up in an angry mob, and torn this idiot limb from limb?

I think Horry deserves a HOF spot, but I think his best chances of gettign it are a 2005 Spurs Ring.
Without it he'll just go down as a trivia question.

his Shoulder: I've seen him grab it all post season. As far as I know, from what I've heard, he has constant pain in one side of his body. Which sounds like a form of arthritis.. I don;t know the specific name of it but I do know that there is a type of arthritis that attacks one side.
At least he doesn't have anything to do durign the summer. He played well all this season.. I think he can keep it up for at least another 2, again, baring any major injurys.

I look at it this way - it gets the crowd hyped and that's why he's there.

I have to admit, I like the work whistle and the "time to go to work" from the Pistons on the videoboard.

not yet....one more ring should do it.

Oh and Blaze.....I busted out the Lakers Suck shirt.

We busted out the Lakers Suck shirt too, for a little 2003 Mojo.

And of course, the same Laker giving us that Mojo then (think rimming it OUT in a game 5), makes them for US!

Horry's shoulder is fixable...it's supposedly a bone spur type of thing that has been bothering him on and off since the all-star break...but at 34 he may decide that the risk/reward of surgery/rehab is not worth it...

and he just smashed Jordans record of playoff three pointers last night...damn I'm glad he is a Spur and hope he comes back for more next year...he can hang his jersey in my living room if they don't want it in the hall of fame and the SBC Center...

I think that shot was from the same spot too. Rattles and pops out in 2003, but rattles and pops in in 2005.

I think Mason is awesome...I don’t know much about the guy but he is definitely very colorful & he gets that Palace pumped up...I like his Bu-Bu-Bu-Bu-Bu-Bu Ben Wallace introduction....

I wonder if it would have the same effect at Staples Center...Bu-Bu-Bu-Bu-Bu-Bu Brian Grant?.... Probably not...Even the fans at Staples Center would have to laugh at that one....

That's really stupid.... mostly because you never know what could've happened..

We are beating the Detroit Pistons when we have our homecourt advantage..

Something the Lakers didn't do last year...

You got Lucky Last year with the .4

    Enough said.

Man...you need to get a sense of humor. .4 sucked but the Spurs just rolled over and played dead after that and the Lakers kicked our ass...give credit where credit is due...

Excellent! I brought out mine after Game 4 of the Seattle series and they won the next two and then the first 3 against PHX. Didn't wear it for Game 4...know what happened there....and didn't get a chance to wear it for Game 5...I sweated that one but they won so I didn't worry. After Game 4 of the Finals....I knew it was time again...needless to say...it will be on come Tuesday.
