LeBron plays with two top 15 players in the NBA including a top 3 player next to him.
    This year??

Wade was a top10 at best. He never was at 100%.He wasn't shooting well.Plus he missed 15 games. Kobe,Durant,Love,Howard,CP3,Rondo,Westbrook.... Wade wasn't a top3 player this season

Bosh < TD. Actual Bosh is a jump shooter. He can't rebound, his defense sucks.TD's impact in the game is higher .

Of course our bench is better.Miami didn't have our deep.

LeBron leads his team in points, rebounds, assist, steals and FG%. The record without Wade is 13-1.

Tony Parker should be in the top5 of the race for the MVP but LeBron is the MVP of the season.

As long as he wins his 2nd Finals MVP, that is all he cares about.

Link where I said Hill was a better player/PG than Parker in any of those threads.
you were on the bandwagon, hill is good enough to handle pg duties, trade parker for a big (and not even a good one).

I like Manu alot. Just like you like Tony alot. Im not a Tony hater though just like youre not a Manu hater.
of course I'm not a manu hater, I like manu a lot too.

Was well deserved after his pathetic showing imo.
I said he deserved the blame and played very poorly (call me a homer)

How am I backpedaling? These past two games vs LA doesnt change the fact that hes had a tendency to shrink against big, physical teams.
These pas two games + the fact tp has always played well against LA. your argument failed.

No. The poster said Tony had been #2 for so long, I said he had been #3. Hes higher now though obviously.
so long ? since when precisely ?

Everytime I criticize Parker you (and will_spurs) are there defending him.
first we are not the only ones defending him and second I'm defending him when not justified. He sucked on his first game against the lakers and I said it, I also think he had been a disappointment on the grizz serie and I said it.

yeah sure, no doubt about that. the admiral was my favourite player when I was young and he is still of my favourite.

Just because I think you guys are soft doesnt mean I dislike you. I have nothing against the French. Zidane was one of my fav players tbh.
yeah soft is a nice compliment. and zidane is a good example of softness, dude is a closer thing of Artest than gasol.

No but its obvious from your history and culture.
u know absolutely about our culture or our history. speaking of history, just a tip for you France history didn't start in 1939.

not really in mvp discussion but like tony u deserve to be mentioned

I'm so tired of that "french are soft" thing.
During WW1, 1,7 millions french people died on their own soil, victims of some of the ugliest violence ever seen. Most of them were in their 20s.
That would be like 13,4 M americans based on actual population.
You can't imagine the trauma it has been, and still is. But please, don't ever call us soft again!

Both Duncan and Ginobili have better PERs than Parker does. And it's abundantly clear that both of them are far superior defenders(something PER can't take into account, even though both of them have higher PERs). Keep in mind, Manu still has a higher PER even though he's been playing injured most of the season. To me, he is clearly the Spurs 3rd best overall player. No doubt in my mind.

LeBron or Durant are more deserving tbh, but Parker will get votes. However, TP doesn't play 40 mpg nor he gets the same number of touches as Kobe / LeBron to get MVP type of stats.

He had been the best Spurs player for some time now. Duncan isn't so consistent anymore and Manu misses too many games; also Parkers defense is above average.

I don't know, during his last finals MVP, they clearly didn't take into account defense at all. They must have only looked at points per game. He could win it, since he will most likely have more PPG than Tim, even though Tim is clearly more important.
The only exception I can remember to PPG being the decider of the Finals MVP was in '04 when Chauncey Billups got it.

Really you start with the top teams and go from there. Durant. James. Parker. Rose has missed to much time. Paul, now that's laughable!
