That would be your wife!
Maybe it's the simpleton in me, but for some reason I found this mildly amusing.
That would be your wife!
Yesterday....from early morning and as the day progressed, I started getting very uncomfortable with every radio DJ, a lot of folks in this forum...and a lot of people at work basically taking last night as a guaranteed Spurs victory.
I'm not surprised at all that Detroit won that game....I hoped it would be over with already, but hearing that all day made me very uneasy.
It would be absolutely foolish not to have a plan already in place for a possible Spurs victory....have you ever tried to entertain at least 1/2 million people?
I'd bet cold hard cash, Detroit already has their plans together as well.
Anything to start yet another redundant, re ed thread though, huh?
And your momma too. Son![]()
Nah, might as well hang out in this redundant, re ed thread![]()
Which is the third one of it's kind to be posted already.
And we've got all day today and tommorrow. Plenty more where that came from![]()
You're absolutely right - on both counts. In fact, I'm off to TRY to find a thread that's not dominated by Piss-ons...(There! That's my stupid contribution to a stupid thread.)

There was a plan in place for a parade on Thursday (if the Spurs were to win last night) and on Saturday (if the Spurs were to win tomorrow). There's also a plan in place in Detroit for a parade if the Pistons were to win game seven. The plans have to be in place.
The mistakes were in that it was mentioned in the paper and mentioned on the radio (from what I understand) that turns it into "bulletin board" material by Larry Brown using it that way. No one formally announced the parade, but it was good enough. Head coaches can easily spin stuff they hear in the media to their advantage.
the parade in detroit is gonna be on saturday es
Really? I could say the same thing about the Pistons. Everyone of their fans, Coach Larry Brown, and the entire team expected to win Game 6 and expect to win Game 7. Thats disrespectful to the Spurs, so it goes both ways. IMO, Game 6 was a wake up call. We were all counting on the Spurs winning, even the Spurs themselves. I think it brought us back to earth.
This is what you guys get for planning your f-n parade.
