As you know because of their situation they do lack depth. As you also know they are already having injuries on the defense. They do not have the depth those SEC teams possess so they have to stay healthy.

Oregon will choke against USC, just like they've gagged on the big stage against Ohio State, Boise State (twice!), Auburn, and LSU....
The bottom line is that the SEC plays monster D the Pac10/12 doesn't and neither does anyone else. At the NCAA level defense is far more important than offense. The SEC plays defense!

My school is Texas, it's the school I grew up with and the school most of my family chose to attend. My school is a great business school and it shows from the initial job offers I got. I completed my degree there because my then wife was transferred to Minneapolis. I have no regrets since my degree has opened many doors for me. While there I never once attended a single game, wasn't interested since I had no affinity to them outside of my education.
The sad part about sec fan is that outside of football their schools have nothing to brag about. You could end football in the Big 10, ACC, Pac 10 and Big 12 and those schools would still offer lots. SEC schools offer football and alcohol.
I prefer my experiences to that. The University offers better football than 80% of the SEC and still you get a great education from one of the top 30 universities in the world. After you graduate you get connections with the biggest alumni base in the world.
Color me not impressed with the sec and their re football team. I'll take Texas any day.
SEC fans never get it. You are comparing a conference to actual schools. here is a hint. There is no SCHOOL in the SEC that can match Texas The University. We have more gold medals that most countries in this last olympics. I think the medal count would have put Texas in the top 10.
I'm a huge track & field fan as you saw. Trust me there is no conference that comes close to matching the SEC when it comes to speed. So cool all that crap about Miami, USC, FSU, Houston etc etc etc. Miami has never had a world class sprinter.
Texas has had a lot of footballer/tracksters, just not the Big12. Texas has never had a "great" sprinter.
So who is the best QB to come out of U of Texas? How about a wide receiver? Sure they have had...
