son the same reason why intelligent sports like soccer is not popular in the U.S. and why baseball is behind football and basketball .... most Americans have an attention span of a 5 year old. they need constant action/scoring or else they lose interest.
    good point

That's fair, but I still really like Miles despite his shortcomings (offensively). It's so ing hard to achieve the level of consistency he has, and really nobody outside of Saban has done it in the last 5 years. I'm also not one to knock on his gambling style, which is one of the reasons I loved Tuberville so much
son I have met Miles twice and off the field he seems to be a great guy. much nicer and a better quality person than Nick Saban ever was when he was here (in my experience). I'm judging Miles on his coaching and I have never been a fan. I've tried my best and I do support him, but he makes it extremely difficult.

    MSU doing it to Tennessee.

They should take another leap in the rankings if they hold on.

son MSU should be a top 10 team right now. they could very well be the second best team in the SEC. for sure in the top four.

I hear ya, it's just very difficult to not appreciate a guy like miles when you're watching Cheezit squander top 10 talent. I've liked him ever since he was at Okie St. He also scored big points with me when he stayed loyal to LSU even when his Alma Mater had an open spot. Dude knows his business, even if he's a control freak.

It's also easy for Miles to stay pretty good when the only recruiting he has to do is go to every local high school in Louisiana with a sack of bananas having the players fight for them and then recruiting whichever chimps come away with the most bananas knowing that LSU is their first choice.

and honestly even I sometimes regret hating on him at times just for that reason. however in fairness, at the time that job was open LSU had won 2 National les in what? 4 years ... so regardless of the history of Michigan ... LSU was the better team/program to be apart of and has been for the last 5+ years now.

To be fair, one of the reasons MSU and Old Mrs stay bad is because he and Saban rape the state of Mississippi. Miles also dips into Texas and south Alabama as well. Dude can coach, but I have to agree with BR that he needs to hire a better OC and let go of the reigns

Goddamnit Miles! same just run it up the middle every single time. piss on a field goal right now. there is still 7min left in this game and LSU only has 1 timeout. way too much time left to be playing this conservative.

now all South Carolina has to do is take their time with their plays and run the clock. all they need is a field goal to take the lead and LSU only has 1 timeout.

why not at least ATTEMPT to pass the ball into the end zone Miles??? mother er

Also, I'm looking to go 100% on my SEC picks this week

LSU's clearly better. If their QB wasn't such an asshole, this game would have been a laugher. Mett is terrible.

Mett's problem is he can't feel pressure. Playcalling doesn't help him out either. I will say he could do better on playaction, but I would lay more blame with Coaches than anyone else

He has alot of issues. He stares at his receivers too long, he's got a really slow release, makes late decisions, poor accuracy, etc. I do agree they should play-action on 1st down alot more, especially in the red zone.
