I have a good feeling about LSU as well at home. It will be close. LSU has to run the football early and often. Also do some play-action of first down. Give Mett some easy passes to throw.
Like I said in the SEC thread, I still think USCe is too inconsistent to win out...Plus, it's in Baton Rouge, one of the hardest places to win on the road in college football
I'll take LSU

This figures to be a low scoring affair. I'm salivating to watch 3 of the best defensive ends in the country on the field at the same time (Mingo,Montgomery,Clowney)
Should be chippy and incredibly physical
I see another coma-inducing game on the horizon...9-6, LSU.
sons I agree with the OP about South Carolina. although they did prove a lot of people wrong last week with Georgia, but I can just never buy into South Carolina being a legit le threat. even as awful as our offense has been, the defense has been solid.
LSU - 24
s - 17
Picking SCAR in this one. Rooting for LSU though... don't want a ing 11AM game next weekend.
well holy Miles is actually mixing the offensive play calling up. first time all season they have passed this much early on..... and look at what is happening.
Jesus Christ Miles ... you were doing great mixing the plays up and marched all the way down the field. then you run the ball 3 straight times up the middle as EVERYONE expected ... then took a timeout only to run the ball up the middle again and get stopped at the goal line and now we're forced to go for it on 4th and goal.
Those fans need to shut the up when their team is on offense. Just ed their own team there with that false start. Crowd was going nuts...
LSU
2 timeouts burned, only to gain -5 yds and settle for a fg
well that was a winning drive for South Carolina. only gave up 3 points when LSU was doing anything they wanted until Miles decided to run the ball up the middle 4 straight times on the 5 yard line.
LMAO son now you're a Bama fan? good Lord your a "Fan" of a new championship team every year.
The big question will be if Mettenberger can pass for as many yds the rest of the game as he did on that first drive.
but son an even bigger question is who will be your favorite team by this time next season?
LSU moving the ball, but they need TD's and not FG's
edit: FG
damn
This is essentially a 2-possession lead for South Carolina...LSU better hope for another D/ST miracle.
Clowney is an absolute freak. Holy .
Love watching him play. Some NFL team is going to be very, very happy
Even their co-mvp's--Wing and Alleman--are ing up![]()
How long till BR starts complaining about the officiating?
easy for you to say considering your favorite teams depend on who wins the championship each year in every sport lolz
I can't remember a defensive prospect as hyped as he's gonna be in a year. It's gonna be funny seeing which team tanks the hardest for him.
Some stats to chew on:
1st downs: LSU-10, SC-4
Total yds: LSU-178, SC-69
TOP: LSU-18:11, SC-11:49
Score: SC-7, LSU-3![]()
