Thanks Timvp, tried to watch that one after it ended on LP but I could do it, was to ty to watch without skipping half the game tbh so the grades are more than welcome.

Here's my wishlist for Christmas :

    - that we sign Kenyon Martin regardless of how much of an headcase he is. The alternative is signing a backup center but I don't believe in that option because when the Thunder will go small, Tiago will be atomised by Durant on D and won't make him pay on O, can't post up a PG, horrid hook shot, enough said, show me some video evidence of Tiago backing up and bullying his man (like Sjax does on automatic)... Instead playing a big lineup with Boris and Kenyon would be awesome because Kenyon is fast enough to guard Sfs so we could switch the defense with Boris guarding the PF on D (Ibaka, Battier and so on) when the other team goes big with a star SF and have him play the 3 on offense. Kawhi is too small to play lockdown D on Sfs, I've seen him get pushed around by Metta and Lebron.

    Tim Duncan
    Kenyon Martin
    Boris Diaw
    Kawhi Leonard
    TP

    That would be elite defensively.

    - that we ship some of the midgets to whoever wants them, we have farmed way too many, it gets confusing and takes up valuable roster space, Blair belongs in the midget category as well. There's no use of having 4 back up PGs come playoffs time.

What I think will happen :

    - Pop will trade for Isiah Thomas because he can't wait to try a micro lineup of Thomas/Mills/TP/Neal/Blair and in the off season he will ask TP to recruit his good friend CP3 so that he can go full microbial.

Pop is too high, his first rotations were bad. i would give a B+
Nope. Spurs were EXTREMELY shorthanded, and likely his top 10 player 5s were not available. GREAT adaptation on the fly.

Nice to see Nando having another good game after the Miami game. He didn't start that well his NBA career but he is getting better. Let's hope it will continue.

Something that is helping Nando is the chemistry he had with Tiago on the pick and roll. It may have been forgotten but they have been teammates during about the month last year in Spain while there was a lockout. Spurs brought back the recipe that made the bench so successful last season: Splitter surrounded by shooters with Splitter being involved in a pick and roll as the primary play.

Never been found of Nando's game but one must admit he's mentally tough and can handle pressure. At last, one bench player who should not disappear coming PO time

Are there any Bill Cosby's on ST?

I mean real, true Bills Cosby's. I am.

I had my awakening when I was 17. After a night of gorging myself on box after box of pudding pops, I was visited by a Bill Cosby. He called himself Bill Cosby. He came in through my bedroom window and spoke to me about his ability and his Jell-O.

He placed his hands upon my chest and I soon felt very cold. I dropped to my knees and looked up at him. He grabbed me by my neck and covered me with chocolate pudding. Oh, the feeling of such power coursing through my veins was almost orgasmic, I passed out from the pleasure.

When I awoke, there was a small scroll on the floor in front of my body. I sat up slowly, my whole body was dead cold. When I reached out for it and read it, I understood it completely. This was strange because it was written in Latin. It told me that I could get $1 of my next Jell-O brand purchase.

What are my powers you ask? I have the ability to draw the pudding from your body. A pudding Bill Cosby. This kind of Bill Cosby is special because I can still go out in the sun and have a normal functioning life. I feed off pudding instead of blood.

So here I am now, I've had my powers for over 3 years. They're great. I'm in very high respect of the elders and I've become a sire to a few of my own underlings.

    Pic related.

It's interesting that even with his early boxscore and health problems, Manu is still owning an advanced stat (possibly the best, most popular right now?) like RAPM (Regularized Adjusted Plus/Minus) and is third behind Lebron and CP3.

    as a completely objective fan
spurs need to pass the ball to tiago "mr fourth quarter" splitter more
nando is the only spur who passed to him and its no suprised we went on a 16-2 when he did
splitter either got easy layups or made good passes while rolling
then parker came in and played hero mode and the lead went away
I agree with you (and Manufan below) that the team doesn't seem to see Splitter enough when he is open. I can't understand it. It almost seems as if they have made up their mind beforehand to pass to a certain player and simply miss it when he slips away from his man and gets wide-open near the basket. It is something that he does extremely well and I've noted these missed opportunities many times in many games.

Maybe it's just because without Manu and now De Colo we simply don't have any natural PGs with great passing ability.

Neal does not disappear he gets blown by on defense but the man can shoot the ball anytime.

Whats with the Bonner rebounding lately??
Half a dozen DNP-CD's early in the season has a way of focusing attention.

Matt was fighting for rebounds, not doing his normal standing back, fake hustle and bother the outlet pass stuff. I thought he was a big part of why the Spurs got back into the game and eventually took over. The last few minutes were disturbing however, as Tony and Manu took turns finding creative ways to not use clock and turn the ball over.

Parker has been defending the opposing point guard in virtually every game this season. I don't remember a time he hasn't. Pop hasn't pulled out his "put Green on the opposing PG" trick thus far this season.
Against the Celtics, if i remember correctly, Pop had Parker guarding Terry and Manu guarding Rondo for a decent stretch.

Even if true, that's not hiding Parker. Parker is the best Terry defender on the team and Terry is much more difficult to defend than a Rondo who was going for that assist streak.

Another great game by the bench players. I'm really going bananas in the first half right now ... no 3 point shots go in whatsoever. But the Spurs still win these games, so I am not gonna complain too long. I have never seen Matty rebound the ball so fiercely. Tiago could have more rebounds, but he seems to give away the easy ones to Gary Neal (who really tries to improve his stats by taking the rebounds where no opponent is in sight). The DeColo/Splitter connections were beautiful to watch. Joseph and Anderson looked good as well. Now its one day rest and then the Rockets come to town. Lets see how we handle Harden and company. Hopefully our injured players will return soon.

PS: Stephen Jackson looked like a pimp on the bench ... great suit.
