    Tim Duncan A-
Carried the load in the first half. Controlled the defensive boards. Defended the rim.

    Manu Ginobili C
Poor shot selection and iffy decisions. Uneven D. However, numerous well-timed passes.

    Tony Parker B
Very strong numbers outside of turnovers but never seemed to find a rhythm.

    Gary Neal B
Slow start. Kept his chin up and trigger ready. Finished well.

    Boris Diaw C
Bought minutes at small forward. A few good passes. Everything else was a struggle.

    DeJuan Blair C-
Overwhelmed by the Bucks athletic front line. Missed a few more easy shots.

    Tiago Splitter A-
Solid screens. Great rolling. Acrobatic finishes. Decent to good on defense.

    Matt Bonner B+
Didn't shoot it straight but competed on defense and rebounded extremely well.

    Nando De Colo A-
Very impressive stint in the second half. Ran the show beautifully. D also a positive.

    James Anderson B+
A few more surprisingly great passes. Stout defense. Contagious energy.

    Cory Joseph A-
His defense was excellent. Came up with numerous loose balls. Crisp passes.

    Pop A-
Kept shuffling the deck until he found a fivesome with life. Well done.

I agree with Bonner's grade, he rebounded the ball great. Let's see what happens next game. Also, Nando looks to be getting the handle of things

Disagree with Cory Joseph's grade. He really didn't contribute much to tonight's win.

Yeah, this was definitely Nando's most "mature" outing. Very under control and never hurried. Impressive stuff from the rook.

Easily the best defense we've seen from a backup point guard this year. Notable, at least, IMO.

Who knew the Spurs would go on a run with a lineup of De Colo, Neal, Anderson, Bonner, and Splitter?

Great coaching by Pop and props to the bench for fighting hard.

He was due for a few big rebounding games after starting off the season so pitifully ... but he's been pretty darn impressive on the boards lately.

Are there any Bill Cosby's on ST?

I mean real, true Bills Cosby's. I am.

I had my awakening when I was 17. After a night of gorging myself on box after box of pudding pops, I was visited by a Bill Cosby. He called himself Bill Cosby. He came in through my bedroom window and spoke to me about his ability and his Jell-O.

He placed his hands upon my chest and I soon felt very cold. I dropped to my knees and looked up at him. He grabbed me by my neck and covered me with chocolate pudding. Oh, the feeling of such power coursing through my veins was almost orgasmic, I passed out from the pleasure.

When I awoke, there was a small scroll on the floor in front of my body. I sat up slowly, my whole body was dead cold. When I reached out for it and read it, I understood it completely. This was strange because it was written in Latin. It told me that I could get $1 of my next Jell-O brand purchase.

What are my powers you ask? I have the ability to draw the pudding from your body. A pudding Bill Cosby. This kind of Bill Cosby is special because I can still go out in the sun and have a normal functioning life. I feed off pudding instead of blood.

So here I am now, I've had my powers for over 3 years. They're great. I'm in very high respect of the elders and I've become a sire to a few of my own underlings.

    Pic related.

If I were Pop then in the 4th quarter, when it was the bench dominating the game I would have done one of these things:

Either aproach the scoring table and ask if someone could please call Stern and tell him that Pop was asking if it was OK to keep playing the bench till the end of the game or it was mandatory to put the big 3 or

Not play any of the big 3 until the last second, then take a timeout so they play just that last second and then when some reporter asks him in the post game press conference I would say I was afraid of getting a fined if the big three did not play in the 4th

    thanks for grades.

it's amazing how despite the injuries and our sluggishness at times, we've still been able to out execute other teams in crunch time. Our bench is something else, Pop and the organization deserve so much credit. To see guys like Nando and CoJo step it up when you figured they had the best excuse to be out of rhythm is a good feeling. Going to be real interesting when other guys are healthy, especially Kawhi, who I'm hoping comes back soon fully recovered.

Is there any truth to other team's commentators always saying Spurs like to hide Parker on defense? I've heard that at least 3 or 4 times this season.

Cory Joseph and Nando De Colo did fantastic jobs. For both players, their total contribution to the game wasn't really encapsulated by the final stat sheet.

I thought Nando De Colo controlled the flow and pace of the offense really well. He had a few hockey assists and hockey-hockey-assists (Behind the back pass to a rolling Splitter who hits a cutting Anderson who hits Bonner in the corner for a Vinny) that didn't show up in the stat sheet.

Cory Joseph really held is own and kept composure running the point, and when he wasn't running the point, he had pretty good, tenacious defense.

Pop is too high, his first rotations were bad. i would give a B+
Which rotations specifically were bad, in your opinion, and what should his rotations have been instead?

James Anderson had the best +/- of the game. "Manu" had the second best (+17).

    as a completely objective fan
spurs need to pass the ball to tiago "mr fourth quarter" splitter more
nando is the only spur who passed to him and its no suprised we went on a 16-2 when he did
splitter either got easy layups or made good passes while rolling
then parker came in and played hero mode and the lead went away

Holy Blair continues to prove time and time again just how worthless he is. I hope no potential trade partners saw him tonight (or this whole season for that matter) because his trade value continues to plummet.

CoP member throwing Manu under the bus (again)... no surprises there...
What grade did you want him to get? A plus/minus twice as bad as anyone else. The Spurs outscored the Bucks by 22 points in the 23 minutes he wasn't on the court. Difficult to ignore, tbh. On top of that even CoM would have to admit his decisions weren't the greatest. De Colo came in and did a better impression of Manu than Manu did of himself. That has never and should never happen, tbh.

Is there any truth to other team's commentators always saying Spurs like to hide Parker on defense?
Parker has been defending the opposing point guard in virtually every game this season. I don't remember a time he hasn't. Pop hasn't pulled out his "put Green on the opposing PG" trick thus far this season.

boris diaw is a sf .....
Eh, I can't agree. When the corpse of Marquis Daniels is beating him off the dribble ... yeah, no.
