Not mad. I am not even surprised. I assume that Stern, somehow, will do whatever it takes to get Superfriends the championship. I am just glad that the Bulls won a game against the Heat because I really didn't want to hear any 16-0 talk from bag Heat fans. I mean seriously, how many of these Superfriends bandwagon fans were fans 5 years ago when DWhistle and the Heat didn't even make the playoffs?
Did you see the end of the game? Lebron not getting the call on an obvious and-1, Wade getting called in a three point shooting foul with 2 seconds remaining.

Those are makeup calls for the last 2 years. Thank you. And yes, I was extremely shocked that Stern let his zebras call that foul on DWhistle. That never happens to Superfriends but I have no sympathy for the Heat or DWhistle. He got star treatment in the 2006 Finals that was higher than the superstar treatment that Jordan ever got. So yeah, I have no sympathy for DWhistle on crying about the refs.

So Stern got them last year's championship, now they're on their own?

I can't believe Vogel was more afraid of Bosh shooting a jumper than James shooting a layup.

Protect the basket, and focus your defense on the other team's best player, you fool.

No silly goose. Stern is still helping them. The Pacers and other teams that want to be like the 2011 Mavericks have to do something that is very hard. That is keep playing the game. When Stern loves a team, you cannot stand and around and cry like a pussy ie the Kings in the 2002 WCF. You have to keep playing and play to the best of your abilities. You cannot expect to get anything from the refs or Stern. If you simply play better and keep making your shots, you will beat Superfriends. That's how the Mavs did it. Go back and watch game 6 of the 2011 Finals and you will see how bad Stern tried to give that game to the Heat but the Mavs said no. Every time that the Heat started to make a run in the 4th quarter, the Mavs had an answer and did not let up.

true. miami just built a dynasty upon no ground. superfriends better keep winning because if their streak snaps at the hands of spurs or OKC this year or next, the Heat dynasty would melt down real soon.

wade is already on the wrong side of 30 and is living with serious injuries in both legs. bron is great but you cant expect him to carry the ship forward when/if his teammates turn . chalmers & cole are the only role players on this team that are still on the green side of 30, and if the heat go 1-2 years w/o a championship (with their current role players gone retired), they would struggle to get any quality role players from FA market because s like Ray Allen and birdman would earn mid-level salaries elsewhere rather than ride lebron's coattail while earning 2m something a year. lebron can't carry a ty team to glory imho

So Stern is still helping them but just not in this game, right?

Yes. And let's be honest the NBA is extremely watered down right now. The Eastern Conference is probably the worst it has been in 10 years.

unfortunately we've been saying this every year for the last 10 years

"I would say we'll probably have him in next time," Vogel said.
