Tbh I don't give a if AP cared about the kid or the mom, it's still ing tragic that a 2 year old was beaten to death. Whether it's a celebrity's kid or some random kid, it's ed up nonetheless.
Also the mom looks like a .
Horrible news for AP. And for my Panthers that play him Sunday

Like DoK said, even if AP didn't necessarily care about the kid, it is still ed up to bury your own child. And the mom should not get a pass, nor should the ones who put their kids in that kind of situation to live with an abusive man. those s.
I don't get the sense Peterson gives two s about this kid's burial.
Yeah it's hard to read. We're all normal, not jaded from fathering multiple kids with multiple women after barely knowing our own father. We aren't rich, paying tens of thousands a month in child support to a who you knocked up for s and giggles.
Yeah, the boys death is tragic. It's truly disgusting.
But equally tragic/disgusting are every other adult's actions regarding this kid since he was squirted into existence. Every goddamn one of them needs to be scorned. Not a one deserves sympathy. Least of all the absentee father.
The kid was never a son to any of them. He was a bottom line. Notice how quickly mama pulled the plug when the bottom line went from healthy cash cow to brain-damaged expense. Mamas got her freedom, and maybe a dye job and a night on the town in, hmmm, maybe Houston (She sees you Dwight), and mama will back in the black, to keep with the bottom line analogy.
You're right. It's just tough as a parent to even imagine a situation where you don't care about your child, but this certainly appears to be one of those cases. And A-Pete shouldn't be let off the hook. He failed to protect his offspring, which is only about the most important job a father has.
Adrian Peterson only recently learned he was the father of a 2-year-old boy in South Dakota ... and met him for the first time Thursday ... while the boy was on life support, TMZ has learned.
Multiple sources connected to the situation tell us ... roughly 2-3 months ago, the mother of the child had a paternity test done with an ex she suspected to be the father, in an effort to collect child support from him.
But the test turned up negative, so the woman went to Adrian ... with whom she had a sexual encounter several years ago.
We're told ... when Adrian was first informed about the matter, he didn't question the possibility he was the dad -- but rather asked how he could help the situation.
Sources tell us ... a few weeks ago, A.P. started to plan a trip to South Dakota to meet the child for the first time and he was supposed to fly out later this month.
But when he heard the news about the attack on the 2-year-old, Peterson dropped everything and jetted over to Sioux Falls as soon as he could.
We're told Adrian met the child for the first time while the boy was on life support.
Multiple sources tell us ... Adrian has been very involved since the tragedy and was the one pushing the have the child's organs donated to other people in need of a transplant.

Peterson's been one to take care of his kids in the past. He has two kids he's pretty close with. Provided that the story is true, it really makes you think. The difference between this boy having a life as a millionaire's son and suffering a tragic death was just being the kid Peterson knew about from jump street.
It does seem kind of fishy that the mother would not have gone to Peterson earlier. I have somewhat of a hard time believing she would not have tried to board that gravy train as soon as she found out she was pregnant.
Probably gives zero s and is glad to be off the hook for child support
What the ? At least Peterson had an excuse as to why he wasn't there when his son was killed. What's this guy's? Did he even have legal custody of the kid at all?
