Well sure, even if Talib was healthy the Patriots were going to lose that game. Playoff Brady and his famous ty deep ball lost the game.

But I don't want to hear got Broncos fans going " Belicheat did the exact same thing to DRC" when it clearly is not even remotely the exact same thing.
yeah, anybody denying the illegality of that play is just lying to themselves. and as you mentioned, the New England play was when Collie already had the ball, so it was clean.
and yeah, when i saw Brady miss Edelman on that deep ball, it was a bad omen.

Even if Talib's injury is what lost the game (it wasn't), the bigger problem then is a defensive system/coordinator completely reliant on an injury prone to be completely healthy. What lost the game is the same thing that lost the game last year, god awful drafting/talent development from Belichick over the years and a roster full of players who consistently fall off in the post season. Everyone on the entire roster sans Jamie Collins and maybe a few others had a below average or worse game. Brady, Mankins, Solder, Chandler Jones, McCourty, etc., all played noticeably worse than they did during the regular season.

Belichick is just as much of a made sore loser as Jim Harbaugh, just more reserved about it on the sidelines....

Belichick is pretty good when he inherits talent developed by Parcells/Caroll.

It's safe to say Belichick has established his inability to develop/draft talent in his own though.

monosylab1k is on point with his analysis of the two plays. Clearly they are distinctly different.

Oh you mean the play where Austin Collie already had the ball and Edelman threw a block for his runner?

Yeah, that looks exactly like Welker's illegal pick before Demaryius touches the ball.
That is the play I was talking about...and now that I've seen it again, you're correct, I don't see anything wrong with it.

    CN

Belichick was under the protection of Media...Now Media has scooted across this nation and have placed fat ass under that protection. Belichick is on his own.

    It happens.

Eh, disagree. Wilfork, Mankins, Mayo, Gronk, etc etc. (I agree that they fade a bit in the playoffs, but not sure that's on BB's drafting moreso than coaching/conditioning.)

mccourty had to play corner when talib went out. and you can't rely on the like of siliga, vellano and jones to be your DT tbh.. if you can't defend the run, you're toast. but yeah, they had a bad game, although brady could barely get on the field and he did his damage in that little time he had (literally meaning time of possession). Too many injuries, no way to sugarcoat this, we did a miracle to get this far, you can't get over being without gronkowki and hernandez, kyle love, kelly and wilfork. all three in two positions. imho the season was positive and we have gotten even younger on D, there is little we need in the draft. I'm positive about next year.

They need to fire their strength and conditioning coaches and the entire medical staff. Pay for the best instead of whatever ragtag crew they have.

Then get Brady another outside threat. I'm optimistic about Dobson but we need a proven playmaker at receiver. Anything Gronk gives us should be viewed as a bonus, not a necessity.

    Agreed about Gronk.

I think BB should try to go out and get a proven WR. Doesn't have to be Megatron level, just a step underneath. Not sure which players are in contract years right now though.

Decker has said he wants to stay in Denver but I suppose that's why they all say. I've never been a huge fan of his but he has played well these last two seasons. Whatever team ends up with him, he needs to be a second receiver because he's not fast enough to be a true number 1 IMO.

He also drops a lot of balls. And trips a lot too for some reason.

Assuming Broncos win the SB, people are going to want to get paid. Not sure how Broncos keep everyone.
