thanks for the info!![]()
I know what you mean about being "left in the dark" just this extra bit you told me helps.... you really feel left out on the line with this whole process.
well i'v already been thru the interview. you should receive a call for that. then i received a call a week later. they offer you a position. if you accept they setup another physical. basically all you do is go in and see what you can max out at while doing different workouts. once i completed that i saw the doctor for a complete physical/the works. they do a hearing and eye exam. test for tb and take hair, urine, and blood sample. they do complete blood work on you. you will get results in the mail. now i am just waiting for a call for my training. i hate the fact that they leave you in the dark. but what can you do right.
thanks for the info!![]()

BTW-
what kinda questions should we expect in the interview?
you can PM me if you don't want to post that here... thanks!![]()
well if there are any spelling tests I am ed!
was there any food? someone said at the palo alto location there was a dude selling tacos out of an ice chest, I have to go in this Wednesday .
I know me passing the drug teat will not be easy but I just can't give up now,
I wonder if I should put that I am handicap if that will help, or hurt my chances.
Being short is not.....never mind.
not sure but i've heard they do a hair sample instead of a cup 'o juice.
Shampoo anyone?
don't worry mouse there won't be any spelling tests buth they will take both urine and hair samples for the drug test. that's what they told me. good luck
So If I go in there bald they will know right off the bat?![]()
You better shave around your "bat" as well.
If you shave off your head then they'll "harvest" the hair elsewhere... armpit, arm, chest..... "down there".......
have done a folical test before and they'll do what they gotta do......
So Emo had his final interview on the 7th. He thinks it went ver well..
Got another call on the 14th - "after looking at his test scores they wanted him to come in for some additional testing."
So then he went in on the 17th for 3 hours of computer testing and office roll-play.
the computer testing he said was alot of math and some other questions that he thought were su iously similiar to those found on IQ tests.
The roll-playing was mostly him interviewing, hiring, training someone for a play company.
They said that this testign and info was for future use, and we win't hear back about this testing specificlly. But we can expect another phone call as soon as the background and reference checks are finished.

Sidenote:
about the plant.
It's about 75% done. It will have a cafeteria, an onsite day care, and a gym.
It will also have a full medical facility. And if your family is on the health coverage offered thru the company then you can all use the doctor at thier clinc.
also, interesting statistic, 74% of the people who take the 1st day testing fail.
of the 26% that move on to the day 2 testing, 51% fail.
.
Good luck to you and your esposo, sounds promising for him.![]()
I did some training on new equipment out there for employees/managers that have already been hired...it's pretty wild the way Toyota does things...I am not saying it is wrong...just very different from anything you have ever seen before...
Apparently they literally write a "step by step" job procedure for every job out there...and I do mean step by step...the area I was training them on involved routine maintenance/troubleshooting on six different pieces of equipment...they had to write a job procedure that starts "walk in door#x and turn left"..."walk to the front of unit #5..." and is LITERALLY STEP by STEP...pretty wild...
"LITERALLY STEP by STEP"

Do you make whirring electric motor sounds?![]()
That role-playing stuff sounds sexual in nature.
Hi...I'm TLong...I'm here for my interview...
x a million
Whoa so there are already quite a few people who have already got a job at Toyota on this forum. That is too cool.
I have a female friend who just finished the physical part of the testing. I thought from what I heard there would be no way she would make it through. She is anxiously awaiting word from Toyota now. Do ya'll know what the next part is?

oh dear that's precious!
well emo got called with the job offer (of course he said yes)
then he went in for his physical last wendsday.
they said he'll most likely be called with a position in the next 2 months, but it could go as long as 6. (thats when he puts in his 2 weeks at work)
So now it's just sitting and waiting .....
That's great Obi!
This is not funny.
Is it true that you still have to complete a "probation" period even after you are "hired" and can still be let go after that?
I know there is no "guarantee" in most jobs but I was just wondering.
Go Toyota!!
