Only 21 reps for Clowney on the bench. A bit disappointing...seeings how he talked cash about tearing up the combine.
tbf that's the most pointless test at the combine imho

Evans getting under 4.5 is pretty impressive considering he's 230lbs.

Fast group overall this year. Lot's of guys running 4.3's.

Jacoby Ford can attest to DD's "clemson breeds for speed" theory.

Evans had a good 40 time, but he looked bad when they made him run that corner route

Yes they do, Jacoby Ford and James Trapp were legit "world class" sprinters, now add C.J.Spiller, Aires Curee, On the track no less than a half dozen "world class" speedsters,Olympic 200m champ Shawn Crawford their greatest sprinter. Travis Padgett a one time NCAA 100m record holder. One of the few schools on a par with the SEC in the speed department.

Believe it or not Sammy Watkins wouldn't make the All Clemson 100m.

There is no "track footballer" on that list of receivers. Nobody with any legit college track credentials.

Texas another non SEC school that has given the NFL a lot of speed over the years.

That (along with the list of other times) is hand timed I take it? Those always differ quite a bit from official laser times.

.24 is what is considered the differerence.

    A handtimed 100m in 10.0=10.24 electro

world class white hurdlers/NFLers Jerry Tarr and Richmond Flowers could have ran with anyone if there had been a combine back then. A lot of hurdlers actually superior to sprinters at a 40.

Sure, too much stock is put into the Combine but that 4.47 40-time by Clowney is out of this world. Houston needs a QB badly but a Clowney-Watt tandem is fapworthy
