In all my years of watching pro ball I've never seen a choke like last year's Spurs.
I've learned that they are capable of anything - anything.

If you can't hold on to a le that's firmly in the bag, then anything's possible.
    Truth asteroid shower.

Most likely not going to happen but if it were to happen, I think it could top 6.

    hater isn't a Spurs fan.
LMAO I was one of the few left here in this forum still posting after game 6. Many of you jumped the team and the forum already. I cheered my team through game 7 and remained here while 90% of posters including the forum owners took forced eave of absense after we lost the series.

i was the one trying to talk on how thus could have happened while most posters would not even want to revisit 6. I wanted answers and closure while most wanted denial and to forget

Truth is I am probably a better Spur fan than 95% of spurstalk.

doesnt change the fact we choked it away last year and that increases the chances of another choke this year

I still at folks who thought the Spurs had it "in the bag" in Game 6 last year. They were only up by 5, against the defending champs on their home court, and Miami had the ball. 28 seconds is an eternity in the NBA.

    Fail.

we were up 3-2 in the series. Watch the video again. Why were guys already congratulating TD as he went to the bench???

No. Not fail, as was demonstrated by Ray Allen. The Heat were champs for a reason. They had HCA for a reason.

Your up by 5 with 28 seconds you win the game unless you choke on the last possessions.

That wasn't for the championship. The Spurs had their sights on a le and let it get away, could not finish it(choked). It was similar when the Rangers blew the World Series but not the Yankees.

Game 6 was the biggest choke job in sports history. The le was won, it belonged to the Spurs. The yellow tape was out, Tim was getting pats on the back, LeBron was crying on the bench and yelling at teammates, and then it happened. Game 6 will haunt us forever. Ray Allen's 3 will go down as the most clutch in NBA history. I'm waiting for an ESPN 30 for 30 on it, tbh.

Which is why Manu's bricks early in the shot clock murder us.

Game 7 was lost when they choked game 6 away. Just because they didn't get blown out didn't mean they weren't going to lose that game.

Losing a 3-0 Series lead is not even close to losing game 6. I am still not over it and still can't believe it

I'm not sure how it could not top the game 6 chokejob.

IT HAS NEVER EVER HAPPENED. from here to eternity if Spurs were to blow this lead you will hear EVERY TIME A TEAM GOES 3-0:
"No team has ever come back from a 3-0 lead EXCEPT for the 2014 San Antonio Spurs, God what a chokejob that was hahahaha"

it won't happen folks. Just some food for though
