I think you should spend at least 100K on transportation.

    Two Camaros can cost $100k+

    The ZL1 MSRP is $55,505.
    The Z28 MSRP is $72,305.

It's the bottom of the line V6 that is at $23,705 MSRP. That's a girl's car.

When I bought my 2000 Z28, it was just under $28K MSRP. The V6 was just under $16K

Lol if you think a Benz gives you a better chance at getting laid vs a Camaro. To chicks I've talked to, they don't know the difference.

Completely loaded Suburban with quick inflatable bed ftw.

But even then, meh. If you have a nice pool/hot tub, she won't give a if you drive a Mercedes or a Camry

    Wow. You are right. http://www.chevrolet.com/camaro-z28-...-your-own.html

That's insane for a Camaro, IMO.

If you want something a bit more exclusive or differentiated the Jaguar F-Type is a nice option... a bit less potent but much more stylish, prices in Europe are about the same not sure in australia...

    So i've made up my mind that I'm spending some $ on a good car in the next 3 months .. but not 100% sure what to get. The options, in my preferential order atm;

    1. Nissan GTR
    2. Merc C63 AMG
    3. Audi RS5 (problem is my bro has one )
    4. Chevrolet Camaro

Ive taken the GTR for a couple of test runs.. and its ing incredible.. like literally take your breath away power and speed.
Have not taken the C63 for a run.
My bro owns an RS5 and while its a awesome car in terms of technology.. beautiful V8 rumble.. all wheel drive.. it just doesn't leave your brain scrambled like the GTR.
Haven't taken the Camaro for a run either.

Interested to here your thoughts/opinions.. doesn't matter if you don't own one or haven't driven them.. just want to know what y'all think and what you would get... ps i live in Australia.
Love the look of the R5. Understated for it's price yet undeniably sexy.

You're really looking at 3 different classes of cars. The GTR is a performance demon. The Merc and Audi are sport/luxury cars that do both well. The Camaro is a sporty car with a subpar interior but obviously much cheaper.

I would drive the first 3 and see which I thought I'd want to drive every day for the next 15 years.

Have a closer look these cars have great design... Jag changed a lot from berline for grand pa to very nice sport models... And you still get the British style inside. I recommend it. Bought one last year and one of the best car I drove

If you spot me the extra 50k
Is it that much difference? In America, the GTR starts at 100K and the R8 is about 115K.

Seriously though, do it man, GTR holds its value so well here, if you are regretting it in 12 months, you will have lost very little.

    Always wanted one myself

Before you settle on a GTR, try out the cat. It comes in either a Challenger or Charger. You might like the extra room in the back seat?

Jags age horribly. I'd rather buy a Volvo than a Jag tbh.

cats are monsters. I'm still baffled by the lack of love for the Corvettes... they perform every bit as good as the other cars being mentioned while being cheaper

.. the GTR is ing tight in the back

Just had a look at the cat damn 707 hp .. but i don't think its available in Australia by the looks of it.. and our import tax for luxury cars is ridiculous.
