I can go with that. I certainly don't think it's out of the question. I would say 7-8 seed is the ceiling...but 5-6 is only a couple games difference...it can be done. About the Spurs, Mavs, and Pelicans regressing part....I can see that too. However, I don't agree with the Pelicans part. AD is only going to get better. The real question is his teammates. It all depends on Kirby...can he stay healthy. Is he going to shoot 30 times a game at 32%? If he does that...then it doesn't matter who his teammates are.

You're expecting a uva lot from rookies like Okafer/Towns and Randle...and that part I don't see happening. Especially in the loaded West.
