Sorry but I'm too smart to let that ever happen tbh. I could've got countless pussies if I ever wanted to, but too bad I've vowed to be a lifelong celibate, and I'm pretty much enjoying living that way.

    Its a wikiIslam list Franklin.
True, but there was a bestseller book named The 100: A Ranking of the Most Influential Persons in History, and the top 10 in this book are basically the same as that wikiIslam list imho.

Makes it more understandable why Darwin would not make the top 10 though.

Darwin was a pretty shy guy and was very cognizant of the implications his books would have. So he put it all together and let other better speakers explain/defend it. That's the only reason I could see for leaving him off. Einstein had to do the same though as he was not a great writer or teacher. Darwin was able to nail common folk.

The impact of where humans came from... Jesus, there is very little bigger than this. It gets our "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil" crew all balled up. If nothing else, he has shown the tremendous inertia of people who don't want to learn; And indeed, brings out the best in people who thrive on living disingenuously.

I love me some electricity but it doesn't supercede the tenets laid out in the Bible. Whether you're Christian or not. Living a just and fair life is more important than being able to watch porn on your computer.

and why the is "supercede" getting a spellcheck error?
Jesus was not responsible for the bible... nor the commandments.

You are Asperger-like with your lists and more importantly, your thinking, or lack thereof.

I just saw the 2015 R&R HOF induction ceremony and SRV went in this year. Double Trouble played a couple of songs with Gary Clark Jr. and John Mayer. Clark is a badass. Mayer does a pretty good impression of SRV voice wise.
But neither could really do justice to an SRV solo. And to their credit, neither really tried.

While Mississippi does get a lot of props for being the birthplace of them blues, Texas did have the first male "star" in Blind Lemon Jefferson. Then there was Bob Wills about a decade later, and since the 40's Texas has had so much talent, SRV one of the many examples of that.

SRV with Double Trouble about as good as a three piece band gets. , another Texas trio ZZ Top might disagree.

as a band maybe. But I don't think any one, including Billy Gibbons, would put himself in the same class as a guitar player.

It's not really about.."as a guitar player". I seriously doubt SRV could hang with Django Rhinehardt, Charley Christian, Wes Montgomery, Lonnie Johnson at what they did. What SRV did, sure he was pretty special.

what's not about "as a guitar player"? If SRV wasn't what he was, then he and Double Trouble don't get into the HOF.
