wow so the christians you know hate gays who knows where you meet them or how it comes up that they hate gays. But judging an entire religion based off your singular experience. The bible's loaded with christians don't do.
Well I know of Franklin Graham, John Hagee, Ted Cruz, Mike Huckabee to start but it's not hard to find many more such leaders with large followings

Oh and God himself hates gays enough to kill them, so there's that.

Because pointing out the fact that religious groups do a lot of charitable work makes one a pos.
no, you were trying to "point out the 'fact'" that atheists dont do charitable work

You can always Google local orphanages, shelters, soup kitchens, hospitals. See anything they have in common? Am I being a for pointing out obvious things?

I love the copouts of modern US christians. we pick and choose the dogma nowadays!

That is actually the point where I realized the whole thing was a racket and that you're a sucker of you buy into any of it.
Lol modern day such schism have occurred for hundreds of years amongst christians

Well I know of Franklin Graham, John Hagee, Ted Cruz, Mike Huckabee to start but it's not hard to find many more such leaders with large followings

Not upset, just asking a question that you didn't answer.

this is what i was originally responding too. it's stupid. you are implying atheists dont do any of those

Ever notice how atheists are always taking care of orphans, the sick, the elderly, or sheltering the homeless, or feeding the hungry, or volunteering to help people after disasters?

Me neither. Thankfully, there are freaks out there.

, but you're trying to move the goal post.
Since that went over your head, you mentioned Huckabee and Cruz and Hagee and said they have large followings so christians must hate gays. But what did the guy who leads the largest following of Christians n the world say about gays?

If there are large numbers of orphanages, homeless shelters, soup kitchens, etc. run by atheists, maybe I just haven't noticed.

Sorry but completely ignoring Paul outside of the rare elite like Jefferson was not done until the modern era. Comparing Luther listing his complaints over dogma is not comparable to the modern US ethic of picking and choosing all of it. Outside of the carrot of heaven and belief Christianity is now completely mutable.

If there were any big name Christians who stood up against Repug invading Iraq for oil, or Obama/black ops/drones murdering all over the plane, or agitating for restrictive gun control to reduce the slaugher, maybe I just haven't noticed.

The moral majority lasted until the 1970s or so. Every American doing the doctrine free for all wasn't really the norm in the 1950s. Biblical literalism wasn't laughed at. Quite the contrary.

That's no answer in there to this question:

What church or religious affiliation currently runs the United Way?

I don't know or care who runs it, but it was started by religious "freaks".

    Look, I'm not a religious person. I don't go to a church. I don't pray. I don't worship anything. I just don't understand your obsession with Christianity.
