Used to respect Avante, but now I see where the people that talk about him are right.
He's "never wrong", doesn't give teams credit when it's due, and ignores relevant subject with lists (that used to be impressive, not anymore)

If you took the time to actually know the stats, you'd see that Sammy Baugh had more long kicks and seasons where he averaged over 50 yards a punt than Lechler, honest!
Now think, Baugh played all his games in the east, on grass in the elements, ok? He kicked in more bad weather games, never kicked in a dome or on fake grass, ok guy? If you think that doesn't make a big difference you're dumber thn I think, ok?

Little man, Jesse Owens won 4 Olympic gold medals at the 1936 games, he is still an all time great, a legend. There are high school kids today running faster and jumping further than he did. let me guess, you don't get it?

I don't ignore anything, and always give credit where it's due. You're simply one of those who are so wrapped up with a team/QB you ignore reality. The Niners are my team, we totally suck right now and I know it, ya see I deal with reality.
The Panthers have yet to beat a team with a winning record. And the first good team they play they needed a defense backs..DUH!!!..to win that one. Are you saying that wasn't how it was?

1) Since we're talking about the past, how about you add in the last three years? Those wins include the alpha-49ers, the Saints (when they were good), Patriots, etc.
2) "Yet to have beaten a team with a winning record" - So you're dismissing Seattle right off the bat in Seattle? A place where Wilson has gone 28-2 since 2012? You also dismiss that if Carolina had lost the games to those teams, 3 would have a winning record. The Packers (and Pats if I'm not mistaking) opponents both have similar or worse records than Carolina's opponents.
3) You like to bring up that the defense blew their coverage. A few problems with that. 1) Cam's pump fake drew Earl in who was guarding Olsen, the only legit weapons for Carolina got open, and 3) Cam led four 80 yard drives, NO team has done that in Seattle.

It's not "injuries happen" that was the leader of that defense and we all know it. With him in there the Seahawks win this and it's real obvious.

Quit being a little . Our best and only NFL-caliber receiver got injured before the year. In the four game win streak we didn't have Kuechly at all, lost Davis (captain), Stewart, Allen, Kalil (captain), Charles Johnson (captain) and our starting T rookie Daryl Williams.
Like I said I don't want to hear that . I can look at those injuries and be ing estatic that our team is 5-0. If ANY team went 5-0 with pretty much back-ups, they'd have a right to say the same .
But I'm not a pussy and I'm not blaming injuries and don't intend on doing so.

The Panthers lost all but the last couple minutes of that game, and that was WITHOUT Bobby Wagner, ok?

How come nobody here EVER does any homework? Why not actually take a few minutes and educate yourselves? Why not look at Rivers numbers vs the greats, well?
Dan Fouts was a great QB, he is in the Hall of Fame, what did he ever win? Who is breaking all his Charger records? What did HOFer Sonny Jurgenson ever win, yep, a Hall of Famer.
Philip Rivers is a great QB only an idiot wouldn't get this.
Give Rivers, a HOF center, RB, two receivers, D lineman, two backers and a cornerback and let's see how he does. That 's what HOFer Terry Bradshaw had and Rivers is on a whole other level.
