It was a game winner, alt
Not a buzzer beater, but definitely a game winner
Not sure if it was already mentioned, but Serbs probably wanted to lose this game, and it might be better for France to lose it as well.

he is a spurs legend, he will retire as a spurs
Shooting is all the casual fans sees, but 90% of the game is off the ball. Be a fan all you want, but Parker needs to play better defense for the Spurs to excel.
Of course it was a game winner. I didn't say it was a buzzer-beater. They were down and Parker hit the last shot of the game. AJ's shot in '99 had a lot more time on the clock and it was a game-winner. Duncan's shot over Shaq in '04 wasn't a game-winner and he hit it with 0.4 left. It doesn't matter how much time is on the clock for it to be a game-winner. It does for a buzzer-beater, which is why I didn't use that term. What matters for a game-winner is if it wins the game.
I get what you're saying, but that's not entirely true. For one, scoring (and you have to shoot to score) is how winning and losing is measured quite literally. Also, players like Parker have a far greater usage rates than 10% (he's had over 30%). For role players and bench players, you're statement is pretty accurate, but not for players like Parker who have led the team in assists for 15 years in row and also led the team in scoring for many of those same years. That's why he's the head of the snake, because not many players lead their team in both.
Up meanwhile Evita choking per usual
And Manu needs to retire for spurs to excel
Regular season TP doing regular season things
Group play...regular season players doing regular season things...
where all the parker defenders now? 39 year old manu put up a 21.0 assist to turnover ratio compared to parker's 2.4 in the olympics.
parker doesn't play = france losing to the us by 3
parker playing = france getting blown out by spain
Oh look you bumped two threads with the same dumb point. You mad my friend.
i like how your post has nothing to do with basketball.
and what am i even mad at?old man manu outplayed parker in olympics.
only thing i'm mad at is having to reply to your dumbass.
Usually if you have a point to make you can say it once. Your point is mills played better than Parker. I think that's right but the answer had has more to do with the two teams talent. France was a ty team and Parker wss their best player. Mills is playing with a good team. He's the second or third best player (bogut, delly). I don't think you watched the games do you don't know why France lost.
To be fair the Argies got blown out by Spain too with Manu in there.
i saw tp lose to australia. and then this game, i saw his coach bury his ass on the bench after de colo carried the team.
Argies were tired, they played 2 OT against Brazil and his best players are over 34 years old, can you say the same about France?
Fair? Who do you think you're talking to?
I don't know man, it all in the end is an ass kicking though tbh. I was rooting for them as well.
Parker shot 51%, Manu shot 40%...what's new?
MVParker hitting game winners against the team that LOCKED Patty Mills down![]()
Patty Mills took a deuce on Porker when they played though.![]()
Too bad they didn't guard each otherPatty was an off the ball playing shooting guard
