    Deuteronomy 22:28-29

28 If a man happens to meet a virgin who is not pledged to be married and rapes her and they are discovered, 29 he shall pay her father fifty shekels of silver. He must marry the young woman, for he has violated her. He can never divorce her as long as he lives.

Nope. I do alot of the hiring for my company and 9 times out of 10 the Indian developer is better and will work longer hours. Being cheaper is just another bonus.

I will never buy anything made by American workers over the Japanese/Chinese. They are on a totally higher level, far more intelligent and put some pride in what they do.

Working long hours and being better at what they do (not just developing) are desirable traits for employers.

It's amusing that folks think people who are good at something like developing software can't be good at leading and managing people. These same folks think their jobs can't be outsourced because they are too "professional" for anyone else to figure it out.

Coders generally do not need to be able to communicate at a high level. In my profession a high level of communication is absolutely necessary. They won't be taking my job, not worried. I'm not a ty Java Developer working in DFW named Mason, I'll be ok.

Indians learn to communicate just fine. They are rising quickly in many companies and becoming senior management.

    http://blogs.wsj.com/digits/2015/08/...techs-c-suite/

"That they all ascended to the corner office might not be a coincidence. A recent cross-cultural study from Southern New Hampshire University examined managers from the U.S. and India, for example, and found that more Indian managers achieved the highest ranking in terms of leadership traits.

Indian managers are future-oriented, and had a “paradoxical blend of genuine personal humility and intense professional will,” the study said. “These leaders achieved extraordinary results and built great organizations without much hoopla.”"

I talk to a lot of Indians every day, the vast majority of them have poor to ok communication at best. Is their exceptions? Of course there is, but they are the exception not the rule.

Companies still prefer to hire American developers in the tech space, there just isn't enough talented Americans. If there is an Indian and American developer who are similarly skilled the American developer will probably get the job nearly every time.

If you are saying Indians that are born in america? Most of them don't go into IT for one reason or another, kinda odd. Majority of Indians in IT are immigrants, alot of them are on H1 visas at that.

You don't need to be born in America to be Indo-American. You think people from India don't speak English and lack communication skills?

They usually don't replace management with subs. They move people around in their own pay grades.

They do speak English, but they speak it very poorly and with a thick accent. Even the ones who have a good command of the English language and no accent can be hard to communicate with at times because they do not understand alot of the slang/way certain phrases are put together.

I think you would be shocked at how poor the communication of many Indians that have been here even 10+ years is. Immigration and communication of foreigners in general are areas I am very well versed in. You aren't going to win this argument. The only nationalities that have rougher accents than Indians are Japanese/Chinese. Russians can be tough to understand at times, but generally if they have been here a few years it isn't much of an issue.

FYI: They wouldn't be Indo-Americans until they are citizens. That can take in excess of 15 years. It takes 10+years just for Indians to get a GC

The biggest reason for this is their own xenophobia and refusal to immerse themselves into American culture and act like Americans even thought they want all the side benefits of American residency/citizenship. When they get to America they only seek out and find other injuns from the same area of inja and same caste etc. They never get out and expand their horizons beyond their own cesspit rotten curry culture
