Who deserves to be on the all-star game over DeRozan/Aldridge?
Aldridge is debatable, he might get in (don't think so, but he might). DDR has absolutely no business in this ASG; it would be a joke, there are at least 15 more productive small forwards in the West, maybe more.

    DeMar: 21.5 ppg, 6.3 apg, 6.2 rpg, 47% shooting. Team record: 29-22
    Aldridge: 20.9 ppg, 2.6 apg, 8.6 rpg, 51% shooting. Team record: 29-22

    Doncic: 20.5 ppg, 5.4 apg, 6.9 rpg, 43% shooting. Team record: 22-27
    Holiday: 21.2 ppg, 8.1 apg, 4.9 apg, 48% shooting. Team record: 22-28
    Harris: 21.2 ppg, 2.6 apg, 7.9 rpg, 50% shooting. Team record: 28-23

So you would rather have players with worse/similar stats and worse records than Aldridge and DeRozan?
None of them plays the same position as DDR

None of those players are met negatives on the floor like DeRozan. I genuinely think the Spurs would be a better team even for this season only if you had Doncic or Harris you stead of DeRozan. I’d definorey put them over DeMar for the all star game. They’re simply better players.

Doesn't matter, you have two wildcard spots.

You know I'm far from a DeRozan fan but without him averaging 30, 9 and 8 to start the season the Spurs might be in full rebuilding mode right now.

So you wouldn't have a single Spurs player on the ASG. You would rather have players from non-playoffs teams than Spurs players?

If I was interested in the ASG, I'd answer: What about the 12 players with best overall performance so far?

Besides, AD is not getting into the playoffs.
    Neither is Booker.
    Or KAT.
LeBron is not in a playoff team.
Fox is not in a playoff team.
Conley is not in a playoff team.

I guess none of them should go to the ASG, according to your reasoning

A 100% committed DDR is better than Harris, I believe. But Harris has a pair and DDR has lost them, so right now Harris is a better player. Not ASG material though.

Why are you putting in the same bag Superstars like Lebron and AD with guys like Fox, Booker, KAT and Conley?

Lebron and AD do make the ASG because their production is so far ahead all the other players. The rest of that list don't make it because they provide more or less the same kind of production other players do for better teams, like for example: Aldridge and DeRozan.

At equal level of production, the guys that do it for winning teams get the nod. It has always been like that.
