I wouldn't touch any product from MS if avoidable.
And the xbox360 is avoidable by sticking with current boxes until Sony's next gen box is out.

If I were a MS client, I'd avoid ANY super-complex, totally new MS product RUSHED to market. Can 360's firmware be upgraded on line? There will certainly be 10s or 100s of bugs.

I realize sanity and perspective don't apply to electronic gaming.

I totally agree. I am going to wait for the PS3. I am confident it's going to be a superior system but the main reason I want to wait is because I hate learning new joystick controls. I really like the Playstation design.

They do need to work on the price. Should come down after 1st year.

The ideal console should be 100-150 bucks not 300-500. Because of how much money you make off the software per unit.
