there's a difference between being an elite scorer in the nba and a good shooter like Forbes. if Forbes was 6'6'' everyone would be on his nuts but he's not so your point is irrelevant. forbes is a solid player, but he will never be an elite scorer. his ceiling is kyle korver // jj red . great shooters who could go off but no sane person would call them elite scorers. and no, Lou Williams is not an elite scorer
Good answer. My point was that the guy has overachieved to a point that I have to give him the benefit of the doubt. He’s making a name for himself for sure.

The issue with Forbes is not height but his confidence. If he had 1/4 of Curry’s confidence, he could be an elite scorer. I would even settle for Gary Neal type of confidence. This attribute is what separates the good from great players along with talent and work ethic. He has the latter 2 in spades.
To me he obviously looks like he has that confidence now so... I guess we will see this season. But I have high hopes. I don’t know about elite scorer but I see that Bryn can be highly impactful on offense

Byn's shooting form is near perfect. Right behind Klay Thompson in mechanics. Elite scorer? Probably not. 3-point assassin who can take the dribble on closeouts, yes.
This should be a great offensive season for Bryn, he looks ready. Pop has given him the green light and that puts him in the rarefied air of Michael Finley, Gary Neal, Steve Kerr, etc.
    His shot is legit.

Ive seen steady improvement from him in terms of confidence but not enough to say he could be elite. That shot is money though and he’s a much improved ball handler and gets to his spot with ease. Looks like he’s not ready to give up mins to anyone.

Honestly think if he shoots more he'll average 20 all day

That's honestly stupid. He can barely get his own shot off unless he's wide open.

But yeah - okay - give any NBA player enough shots and he'll average 20. So, maybe you're right. It would probably take him 30 fg per game though.

    Yep.
Gonna be more of the same. 24 points on 75% true shooting % followed by 2-7 the next night.
I'll love it if he proves otherwise.
