We almost gave up a huge lead to Mizzou too cause of going to zone. How ignorant.

Arkansas almost lost to Texas State

Their basketball team sucks. Texas State is 0-6 in basketball.

Well they didnt almost do anything. Hogs controlled the lead even when it was down single digits.

But still, when a team is winless and have been winless sometimes, they pull upsets. Well thank god it didnt happen cause our football team has made headlines all week.

Yea if they keep playing their game and Neely stays healthy they are going to be tough. The usually only have issues with option teams but no more option teams are left in the playoffs so things are looking good.

I can't wait, I will be there tonight. I am trying to get everything wrapped up so that I can head out that way and start doing a little tail gating.

That was a great game. Why the did they down the ball at the end of regulation. At least make it look like you are trying to score.

Really stupid decision. And I cant beleive he threw that interception in OT. He could have gotten out of the pocket and threw it away. They were in FG range and could have at least tied it.

I'm not saying Bailiff isn't the best coach to come to San Marcos since Wacker - because he clearly is... but c'mon JB... 1:16 on the clock, 3 time outs, clock stops on first downs... you at least TRY something on first down, even a draw or WR screen.

I'm not defending the call, either.

You were there...I was one of the people saying WTF, and I was on the sidelines about 15 yards from the Bobcats bench.

I didn't agree with the call then and even had we won, I still wouldn't have agreed with it. Bailiff is a good coach. All he did in his postgame was take any of the blame away from his team.

I've been to tons of press conferences and that was by far the saddest one I think I've ever been in. The room just felt deflated from both the staff and the media.

You know, you're right...

Playing .500 football for 23 years repped the state MUCH better than filling Bobcat Stadium four times in the last four games with three games on national TV with one of the youngest coaching staffs in Division I-AA.

Making the first playoffs in Division I-AA since winning two national championships 23 years ago in Division II wasn't good at all because Dio says we repped the state badly.

Gaining state respect and national exposure didn't rep the state well at all.

For somebody whose school doesn't even have football and whose student body is fighting tooth and nail to devote their resources elsewhere sure talks a lot of about a fellow SLC school.

I loved the way the Longhorns repped the state yesterday in the Meadowlands on national t.v.

Nice job by the Bobcats. I wish it would have turned out better for them, but they did themselves proud by making a good long run. Maybe the disappointment will fuel a strong offseason and get them on another good run next season.

Yeah, really sucks that UT sched'd a powerhouse & lost.
Must suck even worse to back a team that avoids powerhouse teams. Or back one that loses something like the last 8 games of a season in any sport.
