Hernangomez is a four. Not trying to be snide, but I don't get why the modern positional designation is so difficult for so many.

LOL at all the idiot hot takes in here who can't wait for details.
We just managed to turn Forbes into a 2nd round pick, cleared room for Primo to play more, and all we have to do is carry a little more salary for four months. Seems like a solid move to me.

He's Eubanks 2.0 man. He'll play the 4 and 5 depending on spacing and rotation. Sometimes Pop plays both Landale and Eubanks. You tell me who is the 4 and who is the 5...speaking of "positional designation."

Hernangomez wasn't entirely ty last year, although there must be a reason Udoka doesn't play him. Guessing he just straight up sucks, which is fine. He's gone at the end of the year.

Got a second, sent Forbes off to a contender who is not the Suns, Lakers or Warriors. That's cool.

An interesting note is that this is pretty early in the window, still. I wonder if this lines something up for getting Young on the move finally.

I'm in for anyone named Juancho.

I'm also in for signing Bryn every offseason from now to eternity just to trade him for far out 2nd round picks. When we draft Manu's kids in 2028 with those 2nd rounders y'all gonna be looking like real clowns.

Is everything PATFO does above and beyond second guessing for you without telling ppl they're ting the bed?

I think, and I'm betting the future will bear me out to be correct. He'll ride the pine never getting much more than 10-12 MPG. We get a mid to late second out of it and add a bit to our payroll. How many second rounders do we have now? Is this last one gonna be the cherry on top of a trade that nets us a plus player?

Instead of shading me, perhaps you should be asking those questions and looking with a less glossy PATFO eye.

    Just a thought.

Decent minor deal. Juancho will very likely be waived to make room for a 2 for 1 trade or for signing someone for the rest of the season after the trade deadline. He's had a crazy good stint with Minnesota a couple of years ago btw.

Basically it's Bryn for a future 2nd, which most here thought wouldn't be possible. Turns out Bryn's actually been a small positive asset.

Boston will have to swing more deals to get under the tax.

who the cares one of our younger guards is going to get more playing time (i don't care if its walker, vassell, or primo) and bryn is gone to a contender. how people still manage to find out of absolute gold developments is beyond me

For the return, I’d rather have kept Forbes random 25 point games. Even if it meant he gave up 25 Juan is the worse of the Hernangomez brothers and neither of them are doing much right now. Yuck.

edit: just saw the second rounder detail. I guess it’s not so bad…

yes, because Bryn was the cog keeping Primo off the floor. I swear some of you folks will never snap out of your PATFO stanning. It's kinda sad really, even though I was a sniffer until 1.5 yrs ago. You know who has been keeping Primo off the floor? Pop. Look no further and stop making embarrassing excuses for the source.

The 2RP makes it a much more reasonable trade. Hopefully no protections on that pick. 6 years is a long ways away. Who knows if Denver will be any good by then. Could be an early 2nd.

Never thought I’d see the day people about what we got from trading Forbes away, but here we are.
