Fluminense is worth about 1/2 of River yet only one of these teams got bukkaked by Inter de Milan
That's bull , bro. Every Brazilian team that plays the Libertadores has double or triple the budget of any Argentinian team. The Brazilian cup alone (the equivalent to the Copa del Rey in Spain) hands away more money than winning the Libertadores. The last Argentinian champion won 500 K

Fluminense held Dortmund to a draw in a match where they created more chances, and just eliminated a CL finalist while spending significantly less than River Plate these last few seasons

You can see the numbers for yourself:

    https://www.transfermarkt.com/flumin...rs/verein/2462

    https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ca-r...etailpos=&w_s=

But FAP is on here gaslighting like River Plate's problems are strictly due to their lack of funds

FAP still sipping on that Qatari koolaid, it made him forget argie football is hot garbage these days and Brazil dominates the Libertadores with ease, while having similar and sometimes lower spending budgets.

When have you ever seen Transfermarket numbers ever becoming reality?

Everytime River and Fluminense fought for a player in the transfer market, Fluminense got the player, 'cause they have more money.

What does spending more has to do with anything? The previous season River spent more than Real Madrid, does that mean we have more money than them?

Transfermarket says that Inter Miami is worth 66 millions, way below what they say River is worth. I'm sure that means we can also afford Messi.

FAP has officially gone full re

His point was that River Plate would dominate world football if they had the type of budget european clubs have, I showed him River can't even compete with other south american clubs who spend less on players than River does, and the guy is still on here coping and posting nonsense

River Plate competes with South American teams just fine, that's why they qualified for this World Cup. River having a bigger budget than the top Brazilian clubs is just a big fat lie, which I don't know if you are repeating just 'cause you are trolling or because you are so re ed that you can't understand simple concepts such as the fact that spending more money on a given transfer window doesn't mean you have a bigger budget, tbh.

Like I said, you can cope as much as you want, the reality is River as outspent Fluminense significantly for several transfer windows now, Fluminense won a Libertadores 2 seasons ago and is hanging and beating european giants, River is not. If you're that much of a homer that you can't see River's problems go beyond just not having enough money, I don't know what else to tell you.

And you can't see how those things relate to each other, can't you?

If you have a built base, you don't need to be spending. But how did you build that base in the first place? Spending a lot, competing against other teams (among those River) and winning the bidding war. Keeping your players because you can sign them to contracts that no other country in the region can match and so on.

Real Madrid spent 0 dollars on Mbappe, does that mean any other team in the World could have signed him? I know you are dumb, bro, but I didn't think you were this dumb, tbh.

Sure, that's why they are better than 99% of South American teams. They don't have more money than the Brazilian teams, though. Brazilian teams are closer to European budgets than Argentinian ones.
