I like KSYM. Too bad the signal doesn't as far as I would like it.
Yeah, Musical Star Streams was pretty cool! They played New Age music. It was good music to relax to.
If there was a local radio station that played stuff like:
Fury in the Slaughterhouse
Lemon Jelly
O.A.R
Of Montreal
The Cloud Room
Say Hi To Your Mom
Bloc Party
Clap Your Hands Say Yeah
All day long, I'd get rid of my XM radio.
All I listen to on XM is XM Cafe, XMU, and Ethel.
I really don't listen to todays rock all that much, so the demise of KROCK is no biggie! 99.5 Kiss is enough! I haven't heard the new station, so I guess I'll give it a try.
My station is KZEP Classic Rock!!![]()
But he/she is pretty. It's a damn shame that a man can be that pretty as a woman...![]()
You DO need LASIK.![]()
lol shut up. haha
But really... it's just sad.
Musical star streams is played every friday and sunday night on 91.7
Ethel is the best Alternative station around period!!![]()
They stream...doesn't do much for ya if you are driving anywhere in the world outside of Loop 410, but at least you can listen at home.
Now if only they get rid of kid Crappic in the morning, my radio will be crap free.
I believe it was Brian"BK" Kendall
So...what do you guys think of the new Jack FM that replaced K-ROCK?
I haven't really heard it, but those bas s at Mix still poison my radio with kid craphole
sounds like they jacked my Ipod.![]()
Hey Rasho was the morning guy on Power 93 names Elvis Duran? I was in high school and that was my favorite station.
As for Jack-FM I like it, I think it is the twin brother of BOB-FM in Austin.
Also I think Rick the Stick is on 94.1 again, anyone remember in the mid 80's when he wrestled for the local wrestling show?
I went to HS with Rick the stick, he was at our 20th reunion last October.
I think Rick the Stick was on KITY in the 80's right?
I only listen to 99.5 Kiss
It sure took S.A a while to get one of these "jack/Bob" type of stations that have been sweeping across the country since last year. So much for K-Rock flipping to an alternative rock format like 101X up in Austin. O well.
I think Jack FM is a good station!!! It plays songs I haven't heard in a long time. You could be listening to Duran Duran, and then suddenly Gun n Roses!! I think it's a good format. A little bit of everything for everyone!!!![]()
I agree!![]()
I also agree, great selection.
