Okay, get off the subject of yourself.
I still don't understand the point of saying we should concentrate on the Pistons not the Mavs. Isn't all the Spurs can do is just win as many games as they can? Are you upset that posters are concerned about the Mavs? It's logical to be concerned about both teams, right? They have to beat the Mavs before they even get to the Pistons.
like the late 80's has anything to do with them winning their last championship. I was talking about 99-03 and the spurs 94-98. The spurs used to be a regular season team.
There are alot of similarities between the late 80's Pissons and the current ones, not to mention the fact that a member of those 80's teams tried to assemble the current one in the image of his former team.

I'm not into talking about myself, but when people keep taking shots for no reason...I don't think it's too much to ask for an explanation. In the 7 days since I've joined, I've made 18 threads. I have nothing against you being here but not crediting the mavs as a threat to the spurs sounds like hate comments to me since they have been playing much better than the pistons lately and the pistons have been healthy all year. To me the spurs are better than the pistons and the mavs but the mavs are just as capable of knocking them off as the pistons.

I'm not saying the Mavs aren't a thread, I'm saying the Spurs would beat them in a 7-game series. Don't confuse the two. It would be 4-2 or something compe ive. But I don't see the Mavs beating the spurs 4 times.
You guys sound like there will be a cake walk for the pistons in the EC. A healthy Indiana will be a great charllenge. And PHX without Amare is not much more dangerous than the healthy MIA.

Well I disagree with your logic as if the series was already decided. The mavs when on their game can beat anybody. They blew out both the pistons and spurs this year. With Harris and Howard healthy they can beat the spurs if they play their game that they are capable of. I think especially Harris will be a tough cover for San Antonio and Ginobili had problems with Howard before as well.
"When on there game" anybody can beat anybody.
That's why the playoffs are a 'series'. Not one game. The Hawks beat the spurs. Doesn't men they will beat us in a 7 game series.

The mavs can get on a hot streak. Not always the best team wins in the playoffs. It was proven when the 8th seed nuggets beat the 1 seed Sonics. Also the spurs and mavs have identical records so there is no proof this year that the spurs are clearly better than the mavs. There are only 2 teams that can upset the spurs and Miami and Phoenix as a long shot.
