Beno will get some serious minutes and a BIG responsibility.
Great opportunity for him to show he can run a chamipionship team against playoff teams, in probably near-playoff intensity.
Brent and/or Manu will be backup PG?
lol that's why I put ''jk'' at the end of my sentence

Goldie's season will be over tonight. 10-day tomorrow?
goldie? excuse my ignorance
Spurs will have to do some major stepping up w/o TP.
ahh ok i thought it may be...
What's to deny? Tony's injured. That's fact. I'm trying to stay positive.
Oh shucks. God bless Tony. Get better soon!
I will be very interested to see how the Spurs respond here in LA the next two games if TP is out.
Someone needs to remind Pop that Bruce owns Sam I am.
That guys had a few runs with the Spurs hasn't he???
Yeah, that's who I was thinking about. He filled in decently last time for the Spurs in the same role. I'd also like Andre Barrett, but he just signed a second 10-day contract with the Raptors.
How can a PG come in and be backup PG for Spurs in late March?
Brent and Manu will have to backup Beno.
This sucks, it'll be interesting to see how the Spurs will do without Tony...who has by far been the most consistent Spur this season.
Well how about Beno? Isn't he a "point guard"??

Personally....keep Tony out as long as needed. I would rather have him miss a few games now but be 100% for the post-season.
Didn't they just sign Sanders for the rest of the season to be a third backup at PG?
Without TP we may lose enough games to lose the Home Court to the Mavs and the HC through the playoffs to the Pistons if we get through the West.
Oh well, this is where we will see if we have the stuff of champions.
sanders is nothing near a pg.
There's only like two guys left worth signing in the D-League, and neither are scorers like Goldie
-- Derrick Zimmerman (I'm biased) and Aaron Miles. DZ is a better athlete and defender, Miles less TO prone. Neither would probably do as well as Goldie, especially since he's been here before. He just led the Sun Kings to the CBA championship and I think he's retiring. This would be a nice little bonus, and maybe we could get an inside line on his teammate Antwain Barbour, who really seems to be developing into a baller after riding the pine at Kentucky.
