"Always be a gentleman."
and
"Keep it in your pants."
I've always assumed "it" referred to my girlfriend's hand, but I'm not sure.

A few I remember off the top of my head...
Don't run with those scissors.
Be sure to eat some fruit and vegatables or some "greenery".
Wear a coat and cover your ears (when it was cold or snowing).
and my favorite...
Don't fall. - to which I would respond:
Okay I won't (if I was in a hurry)
or
Why not? (if I was just being ornery me)
Nowadays...whenever I talk with mom, every so often she will ask
Are you getting enough rest?
and then my favorite from both mom and dad almost every time we talk
We're real proud of you, son.
Oh, goodness, yes. I forgot all about that one. And a similar one to that was "Don't run with a sucker in your mouth." (there was a story on Discovery Health once about a kid who did this and it wasn't pretty...when I saw it, I was glad I'd always listened to my mama...)
Oh, that, too. And the sub-paragraph to that one was, "Always wear clean underwear in case you get into an accident and have to go to the hospital."
WHAT?!?!?!?! (Are they gonna refuse to treat me if my underwear is dirty?)![]()
You are very fortunate, Solid_D, cherish that. I wish my Dad had said that to me just one time. Just one time. But, he never did.
re the underwear. Yes that too.
I'll bet your dad really was proud of you, Pache.![]()
Thanks, Solid_D.
Awwww![]()
I miss my Momma![]()
My momma told me that Alligators are so Hornary because they have all dem teeth and no toothbrush.
Dont take life notes from your dad
My Mama says that alligators are ornery because they got all them teeth and no toothbrush.
My Mama told me that she invented Electricity. Ben Franklin Is The Devil
My Mama told me that foos-ball is the devil
My Mama told me that school is the devil
My momma always told me to try drugs.
Stacy's Mom has got it going on!
Be careful who ya love. Be careful what you do, before a lie becomes the truth...
my momma always told me not to get arrested
my momma always said go to school or find a house
Mama told me when I was young
Come sit beside me, my only son
And listen closely to what I say
And if you do this it will help you some sunny day
Oh, take your time, don't live too fast
Troubles will come and they will pass
Go find a woman and you'll find love
And don't forget, son, there is someone up above
And be a simple kind of man
Oh, be something you love and understand
Baby, be a simple kind of man
Oh, won't you do this for me, son, if you can
Forget your lust for the rich man's gold
All that you need is in your soul
And you can do this if you try
All that I want for you, my son, is to be satisfied
And be a simple kind of man
Oh, be something you love and understand
Baby, be a simple kind of man
Oh, won't you do this for me, son, if you can
Boy, don't you worry, you'll find yourself
Follow your heart and nothing else
And you can do this, oh baby, if you try
All that I want for you, my son, is to be satisfied
And be a simple kind of man
Oh, be something you love and understand
Baby, be a simple kind of man
Oh, won't you do this for me, son, if you can
My mooma always said:
If you don't know that off, I'm going to stop the G.D. car and knock your brains out!
People bragging, usualy don't have anything to brag about!
I was so old, I went to school with Abe Lincoln.
If it hurts or taste bad, it's good for you.
If your not bleeding, you're not hurt that bad.
If you're that sick, then I'm taking you to the Hospital for a shot.
I miss my Momma too![]()
Sorry,
I meant to say..... Momma said: if you don't knock it off, while she was driving![]()
And mama used to say:
"Take your time young man"
And mama used to say:
"Don't you rush to get old"
And mama used to say:
"Take it in your stride"
And mama used to say:
"Live your life"
I hope you never lose your sense of wonder
You get your fill to eat, but always keep that hunger
May you never take one single breath for granted
God forbid love ever leave you empty handed
I hope you still feel small when you stand by the ocean
Whenever one door closes, I hope one more opens
Promise me you'll give faith a fighting chance
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
I hope you dance
I hope you never fear those mountains in the distance
Never settle for the path of least resistance
Living might mean taking chances but they're worth taking
Lovin' might be a mistake but it's worth making
Don't let some bent heart leave you bitter
When you come close to selling out, reconsider
Give the heavens above more than just a passing glance
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
I hope you dance
Mama said dont drink pepsi or youll turn black
Mama said don't open the door to strangers
Mama says dont listen to dad![]()
momma said when your about to bust, pull out
