The stats prove you wrong. In the +/- it shows Harris is the 4th on the team in that category and slightly behind Terry. 82games.com has these stats.
Nice try, but actually, I'm still right. The above doesn't make him the team's 4th best player, it just makes him 4th on a list of a single specific stat that you deem important. Pick the players in order that you'd least like to remove from the team, and Harris isn't 4th, he probably is somewhere around seven, because value doesn't necessarily translate into stats. You need scorers, bigs and role players in order to compete.

Harris is good. He ain't there yet.

Dallas has 3 bigs that are about equal so who after Dirk, Howard, and Terry would be more valuable than Harris? The only one I might take over Harris is Dampier.

Are you talking about trade value, or are you just completely insane? I'm talking about if you want your team to have a chance to win in the playoffs.

So you are saying that you only "might" take the guy who in your own words "shut down" Tim Duncan just a few nights ago, but not the guy who took his starting job away from him. That's sensible. If you actually believe your team is the type of team that can win with defense, you need Diop and Dampier. You've been saying it all year. Now's your chance to prove it.

I know you guys love to get down on your own rotten players when they fail to be someone they aren't, but you gotta dance with who ya brung. Therefore, you are going to wake up next to Jerry Stackhouse whether you like it or not.

Daniels is currently a better scorer and a better defender. He's also bigger and can bring the ball up the floor.

I'm no expert, but there's four in addition to the three you mentioned. All of the guys mentioned have been healthier than Harris this season, which is kind of important, too.

If Harris keeps improving he will have Terry's job by next season. He's the only true point guard on the team, and he's got loads of talent.

Diop and Dampier is important but Mbenga is very good also. Daniels and Stackhouse are good but Griffin is capable also. Pretty much everyone is important but I wouldn't put their importance over Harris. Dallas's top guns are Nowitzki, Howard, and Terry and than their 4th player is more questionable. It can be Diop, Dampier, Harris, Stackhouse, or Daniels. Diop is a starter but Dampier is getting the same amount of minutes. Dallas has a lot of depth but if missing one of their top 3 they will struggle.
