You guys haven't even won a division since 1987. Is there even a second banner in your building to complement the one you raised for AC Green 7 or 8 years ago?

You need to back up you big mouth with big achievements. The Mavs have none.
I don't need to do doo-doo. Spurs fans like to talk big about their past achievements and this makes them (and Barkley) think that they are automatically en led to repeat. I am not sure what would've happened when Spurs/Mavs met in the Western Conference finals back in '03 but it would've been more interesting had Ginobili not flopped around and taken Dirk out. Anyway, I'm not saying we would've won but we were kicking yo' ass before that happened. Anyway, stop resting on your past accomplishments, this is the here and now and the Spurs won't take it all this year.

this is true and i acknowledge that the spurs are a very good team, never said they weren't...i just think they need to get some youth on that team...van exel's thinking of retiring, maybe horry will follow him

i dont think the spurs will sweep, but i think theyll take the mavs in 6 in a seven game series
whatever the outcome, i think it will be at least 6 but probably 7 games...the mavs have the best home record in the west and howard really lights it up at home more than he does on the road so i can see the series going to 7
LOL Mavs are 32-6 while the Spurs are 31-6 @home this year. That is no advantage.

Did i say it was an *advantage* over the Spurs? My point was that this series will most likely go to seven because both teams play well at home and rarely lose at home. Man, some of you posters need to take a chill pill and not get so defensive.

No defensiveness here. Merely pointing out the current standings. No one said you said the Spurs were not a good team. Regardless of who finishes first, both teams are almost certain to meet Round 2 then it will be fun.

Nice to know you think all Spurs fans are alike. Did you miss the thread that was propping the Mavs? Some Spurs fans have talked trash...but a lot have also given the Mavs their deserved credit.
When did I infer such a thing? I was very careful not to get all rowdy until some ridiculous Spurs fan called me an asshole yesterday for a very mild comment. If you read the thread you're talking about in your last post you'll see that I made mention of all the NICE Spurs fans in that very same thread!!! But of course you missed THAT post because you're so ready to pounce on whatever you think you can criticize. I've also mentioned how I can appreciate the Spurs fans that don't jump ship on their very good team the minute something goes wrong. Anyway, I've had enough of this split personality board for tonight.
