The only award that means anything at all in the Finals MVP.
Everything else is just window dressing.
Ugh.... They should just do away with this award, no one ever puts any thought into it... it's always been the laziest award selection.
Chris Brousard picked Artest for god's sake.
The only award that means anything at all in the Finals MVP.
Everything else is just window dressing.
the thing is Ben Wallace should not win this award again...
its a crime Tim Duncan hasn't been DPOY... now they're going to ignore bruce again geez...
well i can understand Tim... he was so dominant offensively that we tend to ignore how great a defender he is but w/ bruce damn what more can you ask for?
AMEN Brother!!!!![]()

I hope Wallace wins it. then Bowen will be ticked off and be an animal in the playoffs.
true but great defensive players solidify their dominance on defense by winning the defensive player of the year award. i.e Jordan, Cooper, Payton.
Bruce Bowen should get the DPOY this year.
Pistons should get the NBA le this year.

Because?
What? We are giving Bowen the complimentary DPOY award. All we want is the trophy.![]()
You can have it back. Someday.
Give it to Bowen Ben will play pissed off and I love when he plays mad. He will be a rebounding shot blocking monster.
Have you ever seen Timmy play pissed off? Last time I heard anything about Ben being pissed off, he DIDN'T (wouldn't) play.![]()
Oh ya. He had to take a bit of a cool-off period he was so mad. So when he came back the next game, he busted out 22 boards.
you mean like when he refused to go back into the game when the coach asked him to, like the little that he is?
Actually, he "busted out 22 boards" in THAT game...or so I thought.
I don't think Ben's a "little "; I just think he made a mistake that is going to haunt him for a long time.
Woah there Nelly. Accusations are not cool. Although he may have "busted out 22 boards" on someone.

Ben Wallace is a drama queen
Exactly.
Wow, this thread went completely to in hurry.
Amen. The year he took off is the year the Pistons won the only important award.
