Thoughts from a Spurs fan living in Dallas

Very freaking true SA fans...I landed in Dallas yesterday afternoon on my way back
home from a business trip...and the freaking Mav fans R scared stiff of facing our Spurs....no joke!!!

I think it's ridiculous for Mav fans to be cheering for the Kings with their recent history against that franchise (4-1 loss in '02, 4-3 victory in '03, 4-1 loss in '04) and the bad blood that those two teams had up until recently for each other. .

Most Mav fans aren't cheering for the Kings. They, like me, are cheering for the Spurs because it would be better and more satisfying to play and/or beat the defending world champions. There is only one reason why some are cheering for the Kings. That is because we could get home court next round. Other than that, most of us want to stay in Texas for 2 weeks.

Yep. I actually haven't seen any Mavs fans root for Sac.

I turned to my left and said "I am a Spurs fan, yet I do not ever cheer for a team going against the mavs" and then I hear, "umm, but the Spurs will beat the Mavs"

Seriously, every one I asked at this bar was convinced the Spurs will OWN the mavs if they meet in the playoffs. Every ing one.

hahaha funniest thing ever they're afraid of Spurs... good cuzz they should be... but im sorta confused to why Mavs fans wouldnt want to play us? 1) it makes for a better series, 2) dont have to travel as much, 3) games dont end at midnight, 4) thought Mavs would want to actuelly try out their "new found" "defence", and 5) what Dallas doesnt like having to fly a Spurs flag over their city?

dont worry Cant_Be_Faded your not the Spurs fan exiled in Dallas, my friend moved up there in 2002 and had to watch the Spurs win in 2003 form there, but atleast yall get to see the Sprus flag waved up there if the Spurs win!!!

You know I think it will be much sweeter to meet dallas and beat them. Once we do that, NBA finals here we come. The LA teams are good, but not good enough to beat a team like SA.

I dont blame those Dallas fans. I know if SA were to win the West this year, and Detroit and Miami were playin the the ECF, I would be cheering for the heat.

That's the order I'd put them in. San Antonio is nice area but I couldn't handle only having one sports team.

who gives a , Spurs will beat Dallas, doesnt matter how much, much, much, much, much suckier Dallas is than San Antonio is as a city.
