To the contrary, my good fellow. I'm sure you'll be shocked, but I s out plenty of good money to watch the Spurs play basketball and even travel from my humble abode in the Alamo City to see that team play basketball in other venues. I do those things because I've acquired a taste for good basketball and recognize that the Spurs meet that standard on a regular basis. I suppose I'm blessed by the fact that I don't have to see a shiny object every 15 seconds or so to keep my attention on what I'm watching. Perhaps you do.
My point was a more general one. Any champion, even if decried as boring by the sporting hoi polloi, is superior to a non-champion, notwithstanding the excitement that such a non-champion might bring. A careful reading of my previous post (or perhaps a reading that is not infected by your apparent desire to infer support for your facile argument) readily demonstrates that my point was made irrespective of your thoughts about the Spurs.
Cheerio.
