uh...? come again?
o fellows. I have been looking around on your board and am wondering if you guys have won any championship rings? This has not been made clear to me. I feel that this is the deciding relevent factor in the series.
I suspect that this series is over already and you guys will clearly win...if there is anything watching sports has taught me it is that a team cannot achieve greatness unless it has already acheived it in the past. Please keep bringing the insight San Antonio.
On another note, poll question: least cool/appealing championship winning team...Spurs or Florida Marlins?
While you may be re ed and ask stupid questions, one thing is inherently clear:
MAVS HAVE NO RINGS
Three Rings versus a circus of Mav fans.
Bowen is ugly.
Duncan is uncool.
Spurs are better than the Mavs.
Any other questions?
Rings are irrelevant to this series, except inasmuch as that experience can serve one team well in certain situations.
Of course, showing off the degree to which one can be a complete smartass is equally irrelevant.
Thanks for clearing me up Deb. Like I said, I feel that the NBA would be best served if teams that haven't won les in the past just took note of such things and did not even try to win.
In my mind I have eliminated Mavs, Clips, and Suns from contention because of this. Only you guys and Detroit are eligable to win.
The past=the present, ya know?
I wish Tim Duncan was as cool as your posts.
Your poll question appears rhetorical ( I mention this just so you don't imagine that all spurs fans are as incompetent as you seem to imply in your very valid observation that all the posts predicting the result of this series is predestined by the prior championships won by the spurs). I agree with you that insistence on the spurs' chances of winning this series by reference to previous year's teams and results is uninformative and unobjective...and stupid.
However, you seem to indicate that your (equally subjective) impression of the relative value of championship celebrations across basketball or baseball is somehow worthy of note. Let me assure you, it is not.
I love how Mavs fans come in talking much after only one win. Don't need a lead or nothing, gotta strike while the iron is HOT.
Y'all don't run 'em off too quick...I'm enjoying this too much.
You are so welcome. I was more than happy to clear that all up for you.
We Spurs fans take great pride in our team and our championships. Thats what good fans do.
You know, there is such a thing as too much sarcasm. Stop trying so hard, it was remotely humurous for the first sentence or two, but it has circled back around to being really stupid.
Mav Fan has a bad case of championship envy.

I have said nothing but good things about your nice little squad. Please don't be defensive. Also, I think you meant "anything" instead of nothing. When you take the time to write something down, there is no need to consciously use bad grammer to try to make yourself sound cool.
Yeah man, don't use bad "grammer."
Is there any debate that Mav fan is the worst fan ever?
1996-1998 Rocket fans were up there but at least they had won something.
I bet you never won a spelling bee when you were younger.![]()

But Bowen is ugly. What ever will we do?
He may not be the best looking guy in the world, but he can sure play some bad ass basketball.
What a gay comment by Mavposter
Deb, lets not push it. He is far better at being ugly than he is at playing basketball. Also, Deb, I too wish Tim Duncan was as cool as my posts. That way Spurs games might be mildly entertaining and not result in plumitting ratings for the league and I wouldn't feel the urge to kill myself everytime I watch him bore me with his uncanny ability to sap professional basketball of excitement.
New Poll: coolest celebrity...Tim Duncan or Tom Cruise?
