Right on track...
Dead. On. (for most fans, I on the other hand, had no such delusions)
Fantasy peeps, start Brad Johnson and every WR and TE on the Minny roster.

Since all the Lions do is lose, I have officially jumped on the 0-16 bandwagon. They might as well be perfect at something, anything.
Three starting OL are out, RW and KJ might not play, and the D is atrocious.
Bet the Bills hard this week...
Once the Tigers' season is over, it is going to get very, very ugly in Lion land.
Here's hoping for perfection!

My girlfriend was offered tickets to the Bills game this past week and I told her to pass them. She was pissed.
Much like my WalMart stance, I will not goto Ford Field, and even if I did because she wants to see it, I will not spend money in the place. Ever.
So I told her, unless you want to pay parking ($30), for beer ($8-9 a piece) and any food, sure I will go. But I will never reach toward my wallet for a sad-sack, piece of organization like the Lions ever.
She passed on them. Good girl.
I was offered a chance to go to the Bills game as well. I passed.
Three of four teams in town being championship caliber is pretty good, though.
BREAKING NEWS!!
Lions sit comfortably in 32nd place in all major publications Power Rankings and are in a 3 way tie for last place in the league.
Conclusion...
Stop buying the ing tickets! Stop going to the ing games!
/PSA
They'll beat the Vikings on Sunday in Motown. Book it!
Brad Johnson sucks...Troy Williamson sucks...That whole offense sucks!
So does Millen re-up before the season ends or after? Another 5 years should do the trick.
Marinelli blows, McCown is playing WR over a top 10 pick, Kitna still starting at QB is laughable, they call timeouts like no other, they have zero depth/minimal starting talent because they have the worst scouting/personnel dept. in the NFL. Sadly, they won't be mediocre for at least another 3 years.
you Matt Millen.
you William Clay Ford.
you Junior.
You made me not care about the Lions and I hope you default on that $18 billion.
Just a few numbers under the Matt Millen regime for those not in the know:
23-69 overall record (only 3 consecutive undefeated seasons away from mediocrity!!!)
5-41 road record (words cannot express the futility of this stat)
23 consecutive road losses (NFL record)
6 consecutive double-digit losing seasons (NFL record for a GM to keep his job)
Okay, now I'll let this thread die much like the spirit of the Detroit Lion fan base.
When upper management from other teams start dogging your GM he needs to go.
All them ugly stats and still the lions are favored this week. 5 n 41 road record has to be one of the worst Ever
Living in metro detroit not having an NFL team to cheer for your whole life is the worst ever.
Stolen from CardSharp on MLive and tweaked a bit:
The problem is we, the wretched, the heartbroken, the disappointed, the victory-deprived and disenfranchised, are the NFL's scorned and ridiculed. We are all scarred, damaged, flawed individuals.
Yes, my friends. We are Lions fans, and nothing more.
We expect catastrophe, and are suspect of success, while fearing the worst as we hope for the best.
We march bravely into Ford field eight times per year, with the grimness of resigned men marching into .
We wear our Lions jerseys and caps proudly, if only to show the rest of the world that we have BALLS!
We scorn the ridicule from our fathers, and even our sons and daughters, as we tune our miserable televisions to FOX on Sunday afternoons. And then we watch stoically, as if witnessing a multiple-vehicle-fatality accident.
We read the Monday morning game summaries, much like a senior citizen in his twilight scans the obituaries through bifocal lenses.
We are Lions fans, and we carry our shame on our sleeves.
Our enemy is not the vaunted Packers, with their swashbuckling quarterback, who has stabbed our hearts repeatedly, only to see us rise again from the dead.
Our enemy is not the hated Vikings, with their gay purple jerseys and party boat bye weeks.
And our enemy is not the Bears, with their new stadium, dominating defense and swirling winds.
We have met the enemy, and the enemy is us.
My name is DLF, and I am a Lions fan. May God have mercy on my soul.
DLF....who do you want the Lions to get with their sure to be very high draft pick?
Ideally, I'd want them to trade out of the #1 or #2 slot. Quinn has bust written all over him and you can't pick Thomas after franchising Backus last year. That's just way too much money to be tied up between both T's. Plus, with Jones going out with a severe foot injury, Peterson must be part of the equation(they'll probably pick him since he is the an hesis of a Mike Martz back).
Seriously, I hope they do what the Vikings did and just let the clock run out so the team behind them can pick before they do. Actually, does it really matter who they pick? None of them will work out here. See Harrington, Charles Rogers, Mike Williams, etc.
There is no hope left. None.
I can only hope. There is no basis or logical reasoning for him staying, except that the Fords are extremely loyal and like the guy.
NEWSFLASH!!
The Lions, after suffering a terrible defeat at the hands of the lowly Vikings, still blo...
Aw, it.
