Appreciate the optomism, but these are the Lions. Their linebacking core is non-existent, their CBs are highly overrated and the d-line has one good player.
The offense can score 40 points a game and they would still lose.
Lets not get into offense either. Harrington, while a complete tool and inconsistent, wasnt the problem. The problem was physically allergic players.
These receivers are some of the most sad-sac pieces of uneducated, ghetto trash we have ever had the disservice of having paraded around town.
TO is smart. Rogers/Williams are dumb beyond the basements of any Wonderlic test you could find. I am in serious doubt these nimwits sign their checks with aything other than "X".
Roy Williams is a very aloof person. He very much thinks himself better and above anyone or anything. Arrogance for doing.......what? Thats right, nothing at all.

at least your offense should improve, martz can probably get those WR's to produce. even if martz is a crappy head coach, he is an incredible offensive coordinator.
I was having a decent sports year (regular season sucess by the Wings, Pistons and Tigs) until you mention them. They are those of which we must not speak of.

The Lions do suck, but they are in the worst division of a terrible conference. They can fall ass backwards into the playoffs if Martz can get them to score some points.
I dont think scoring points will be as much of a problem as will holding other teams from scoring. Their D is horrible.

unfortunately Lions wont be going anywhere this year either with the Packers and Bears. maybe they wont get last place but then again somebody on their team will probly make some stupid mistake in a big game

William Clay Ford only cares about protecting his assests and what is best for his personal sucess. This is the reason the Lions do not have cheerleaders, b/c Ford is afraid of a boycott from female groups.
nah, im serious. Lions will have a winning record. somethin like 8-8, 9-7 they wont make the playoffs, but Martz as offensive coordinator helps. you have to have some optimism about their D, cause they can create turnovers. they wont be makin the playoffs til millen's gone, cause he doesnt know how to manage
