Have fun in Oxford, where the women are hot and 3-9 is an accomplishment.

From the opinions of you UT fans on Snead, it looks like Ole Miss is the perfect place for him. He can follow in the footsteps of another giant bag: Eli Manning

Eli didn't do nearly as much @ Ole Miss as Peyton or with as much fanfare.
Def CAN'T confuse the 2 for being the same type of QB either. Jevan is a good QB but has damn good wheels........that is evidenced by the way he ran from a QB compe ion @ Fla & UT.

Hope he does better than Perriloux.

Perriloux was alot worse than Snead. Snead never said he was gonna win the heisman his freshman year and beat out Vince Young.

Anybody who abandons the team they have been with right before the team's bowl game deserves to have their testicles inverted

    Here's to Snead getting Theisman'd

(?) ...last time i checked you only get 4 years of eligibility. is it possible Jevan doesn't want to waste any more? is it possible Jevan is not as good as McCoy, but he wants to play? is it possible Jevan is actually better than McCoy but needs a different system or coach? is it possible they have the same ability but McCoy started b/c he was a year older @ t.u.?

...it amazes me how some of you talk about your 'ex' player, someone who was celebrated coming in. is it a poor time to leave the team before the bowl? ...perhaps. its not like McCoy wasn't going to play, was that ever in doubt?...i don't think so. but, sure, he could have waited...however, i don't think it should define him.

Now its a lame post. JGW are you telling me that if your lame ass hillbilly mcgee quarterback had abandoned your team right before your bowl game, when he was a backup, and reggie mcneal had been seriously hurt, that none of you chigga rumming maniacal aggie fans would be pissed?

    Give me a break dude
"Perhaps"??? Give me a ign break....your entire school would probably add a verse to your fight song, right before the chigga rum, to scoff the out of such a traitor. Give me a break. "perhaps" ???? He's a ing cowardly traitor, typical hot named recruit who thinks he is en led to without working for it. Plus, if he had been studiously working at greg davis' stupid game plan, theres no ing way he would have blown it the way he did. Kstate doesn't even have a god damn defense...

"Perhaps"....dude i dont even think you believe the you type anymore..

...i doubt Snead's intention was to hurt the team in any way. something must have happened...there is no way Jevan would just quit the team without talking to the coaches and whatnot. furthermore, i don't believe that McCoy not playing was ever in question and there are other QBs, albeit not good ones.

finally, i never said Snead should not have waited to leave the team. in fact, if you read my post i hint he should have. the main point of my post...is that the garbage ya'll are giving him is ridiculous.

I agree that maybe he realized he would never start ahead of Colt, but a compe or would want to get better, and fight for the starting job instead of giving up and running away like a little beatch

You are right, something must have happened, and I th ink its fairly obvious what did happen was that he pussed out to the challenge of earning the starting QB spot. He saw Colt on the verge of College Football Freshman History, and pussed out. Then he started telling 'close friends' that he planned on leaving, the information was leaked, and after his KState debacle, he had no choice but to transfer or he would have been ostracised by the entire team and his school friends.

He would have been a target for straight up ass beatings on campus. That is my theory and I think its the most plausible.
