I actually don't think the Spurs played that bad. They were getting shots they wanted. Their defense was decently solid until the flood gates opened up at the end.

Duncan played well ... he just couldn't hit the shots he always makes. Add in a better offensively performance by Duncan and some better shooting (Bowen, Oberto, Beno, Horry, Finley and Vaughn combined for 1-for-18), the Spurs easily win the game.
well finley is the only one that has the potetial every game to score more than 6 pts. bowen not hitting 3s is useless offensively. i cringe when that guy takes a dribble to the basket.

but it's only 1 loss and it's feb. spurs will be fine.

I hate to complain about refs, but . . . Three straight charge-block calls against the home team in the waning minutes doesn't help the cause.

All in all, I thought the Spurs played one of their best games in the last few weeks.

Why did Manu settle for a jumpshot instead of attacking the basket and maybe scoring AND getting a foul in the process? Typical of the Spurs play so far this season, settling for jumpshots.

I think there was about 4 seconds left when Manu got to his feet and rebounded the ball.

And what about Oberto? In the past 2 games he had 2 clear cut paths to the basket yet he chose to pass the ball. He should have dunked the ball hard!

    Bring on the losses.

It's the only way things are going to change.
Is this really what you guys want? Change? This is a serious question. I'm absolutely baffled as to how fans of the defending champs can be calling for change.

it wasn't a bad loss. just missed alot of 3s the spurs normally make and the cavs making more outside shots they normally don't. and the fact that andy brought the hussle and energy. cavs played like it was post season already while the spurs treated it like another regular season game.

No one, including me. Not sure why you assumed that's what I meant. Why would you want ANY kind of change? This is almost exactly what the Spurs did last year and they ended up winning a le and pretty much raping the playoffs.
