It's amazing how people fall so easily into hype. That being said, if the Mavs lose to the Warriors, it would be an upset. Nothing more. It's sports, and in sports anything can happen. Thats what makes it fun.
I think the gsws have a good shot at forcing a 7 game series. I think it will be an all-out slugfest........but I feel that Dallas will pull off enough close wins to take the series. Each team will have a moster game pt differential wise and stun the other team, but each team will regroup and play some close games, and I will give dallas the edge in close games.
but who knows, the warriors may pull an upset.

Dallas is not losing to GS they are too good and focused. Didn't the Spurs lose to the Suns in 2003 every game they played in the REG season? It was a pretty tough 6 game series i remember but we got through it and unfortunately so will Dallas with GS.
Wonder if SequSpur and SpursDynasty get together when they are riding home from school on the short bus and talk about how much they love the Warriors.
It never fails to amaze me how upset Mavs fans get when Spurs fans express dislike for their team. What's even more amazing is that their attempts to defend their team just further justifies the dislike.
I think that Mavs will beat Warriors in 5. Golden State doesn't have playoff experience. But I expect close games.

I actually don't want GS to get the upset. I want Dallas to defeat Golden State, then the winner of Utah-Houston.
While this is taking place, the Spurs will be dispatching Denver and Phoenix/LA Lakers.
The Mavericks took us out after we established a franchise record for victories. I want eye for an eye justice at their expense.
Having said all of that, it would be the Greatest. Upset. Ever. And what could the Mavericks fan say about winning 67 games and losing in the first round? It might just be enough to render Mavs Fan speechless...nah. No chance. But it would still be great.

Spurs lost a game 1 of round one in 03, but went on to win the finals. But, it does give you that "oh " feeling, especially when the loss is from a buzzer-beating miracle shot. But this wasn't near the dagger that the 0.4 sec Derek Fisher shot was.
