Maybe they need to proposition Stern into opening a spot on the Dleague for a new team. Maybe then they won't feel intimidated by playoff basketball.

All right, Spurs - so far, you guys have lived up to my predictions. Keep it up. Come out acting like champions who smell the fear in the air. Don't give up the homecourt advantage that you stole. Get in there and play strong from the very beginning. Good, solid ball movement, going inside early and often, finish hard at the rim. Strong, stifling defense for 48 minutes. Do it up right.
I can't wait for the $3/game downloads to really get going - apparently they will eventually have about 40,000 games available! I'm going to get the entire Spurs 'playoff series for 1999, 2003, 2005, just for starters... I saw a lot of games in 2003 (every game, actually) and 2005 (WCFs and Finals), but in 1999 I only saw two Finals games, including the winner. I was in the UK...

Game 4 vs. Denver was won on a shot by Horry. I think Horry comes up big this game as we hang around (as usual? Lol) and stick a dagger in them late. D'Antoni cries. David Stern suspends Bowen for nothing. Pop drinks chigs wine at the post-game dias. Could be the best game of the year, imho.
I decided to leave my wine alone tonight and sip a few cold'ns. Might be tempted to fire up a Cohiba if the Spurs get me a win. In that case, I'd sip a little cognac.
