I don't believe... I know.
The Spurs need to come out ready to play. In Game 2, they entered the game overconfident and ill-prepared for the desperation the Suns displayed. The Spurs can't have a repeat of that performance.
Game 4 is a trap game because I think Game 3 was more luck than skill. Steve Nash is never going to start another game 0-for-9, no matter how well he's defended. Amare Stoudemire isn't going to spend more than half the on the bench with foul trouble. Leandro Barbosa is going to find his away to the arena this time.
On the Spurs side, the Big Three all played well in Game 3. That's not something you can count on every game. Usually, two of the three show up.
Don't get me wrong, I believe that the Spurs can beat the Suns. But their mental approach has been lacking at times this season.
Overall, I'm afraid that the Spurs are going to come into the game too relaxed. Game 2 was a pitiful performance brought on by overconfidence and a desperate Suns team.
In Game 4, the Suns will be desperate. The Spurs can't rest on a 2-1 series lead. The battle has just begun. If the Suns win this game, all the momentum earned due to the Game 3 win will evaporate.
Concentrate on the mission at hand, not what has or hasn't happened. Be prepared for desperation.
Believe.

game 4
is not like 2
why bowen is getting looked at again spurs will be forcused
I wouldn't say game 3 win was due more to luck than skill. The Suns started off red hot as a team and the Spurs clamped down, shut down Barbosa, cut off passing lanes and made Nash take the offense onto himself. A lot of work went into getting that done, and going from 10 down in the 2nd quarter to 7 up at game end isn't luck. If the Spurs let the Suns get all caught up in the physicality issue and just continue to pound away for 48 they'll be fine.
I think with D'Antoni's antics, the Spurs smell blood.
These ers better win
They don't want to put themselves in the situation of having to win again in Phoenix. I think it'll be a tight game but the Spurs will prevail in the end. Hopefully the fans will stay in it though even if they get down.
Game three was NOT more luck than skill. That's a reach. And there's a reason Nash went 0-9 to start the game -the road and San Antonio's defense. And if it was an open shot he missed, maybe somebody was in his head early on. Nobody is perfect, even ringless Nash.
That being said, the Spurs are veteran enough to know the importance of tonight's game. They'll be ready, as will the fans in attendance.
Win, Win, Win!!!
Win Suns Win!
I might have thought Nash's start was a fluke except that he scored something like seven straight points in the third when they put Bowen on him. Parker's defense was very good, and if he does that again, the Suns will need a monster game from a couple of other people to survive it.
im gonna shove my clacker up Ginobili parker and finley's noses if they dont ing come out for goddamn blood tonight.
ers better bring it tonight.
Elevate foot, place on throat.
