Have everyone in black shirts, then give them silver noise makers. It would confuse everybody.

I think every team that did this has been eliminated. I think only the Spurs and Detroit haven't had a t-shirt night.

I'm with TPark on this one. I was kind of hoping San Antonio would stay above it all.

It worked for Miami last year, so why not?

    I'm sorry I won't be there.

I do think in person that black will look pretty cool, but white would look better on TV. I wish that there would be enough people that they would set up overflow or something outside, or even open up the Alamodome or something like that to show the game for cheap cost.

I was told by a friend who works in the arena that the Spurs would never do white shirts as white is the sign of surrender.

blackout does not seem like a good idea to me

it will look like nobody is at the arena

We'll just have to be extra loud to make our presence known.

    Some people are never happy.

I imagine the reason is that silver t-shirts would cost twice as much as black, which cost more than white.
black and silver cost the same. tshirt manufacturers classify them as dark colors. i kinda think silver would stand out more. att is already dark as it is, but hey "i ain't complaining"

I wonder if they're going to post this on the HEB site at work? Usually when HEB sponsors something like this, I can find it on the company site at work. Will check when I go in today to see what the news is.

Of course, I can always just ask my managers if they know anything. Usually one of my store leaders has the info on things of this nature.

And in bold white letters, they can put ...

    WITNESS THIS ... 4

(of course, that's if Cleveland comes out of the East)

I remember reading in one of the Jazz newpaper articles that they only put the blue t-shirts in the chairs in the lower arena. The upper levels didn't get any. For 19,000 shirts-- wow what a cost.

Blackout is cool. The lights will be on so there won't be a problem with looking like the arena is empty.

If it did look like no one was at the arena that would not necessarily be a bad thing. It would make it even more powerful shooting against a black background but with crowd noise .

The people will still be white, for the most part.

The controversial "Blackface the Place" idea didn't make it out of committee.

Wifey asked me once why I drive 2 extra miles to get to an HEB for groceries when there's a Super WalMart right around the corner. I told her because "HEEB" (as I like to call it) has the Spurs' back.
