"At some point if this continues, someone's going to take a cheap shot,'' Cowher said. "Is that worth subjecting your players to if it comes to that?''

A very real possiblity. I am not saying its right nor do I condone it but if a some player feels their team is getting run up on...it could happen.
Anything Cowher says I take with a grain of salt. I never could stand him as a coach. This would be something that he would probably pull, and that is probably why he is suggesting it.

I wonder if Cowher would take a shot late in a game against Brady if he was coaching a team that the pats were running up the score on. Im guessing a big yeah.
Cowher would do it because he could personally whip 70% of the Pats' asses and put Belicheat in a coma. That guy always seemed crazy to me.

I'm pretty sure Belichick is gonna try to hang a hundred on them.
I'm pretty sure Brady breaks the single-game TD record in that game.

I'd like to see Belichick get taken out on the sidelines. Run a few sweeps his way and have the fullback take his knees out.

And then Mr. Fullback will run like a pussy when he sees Rodney Harrison charging for him in a steroid fuled rage.

I wonder if Goodell would suspend Harrison for leaving the bench during an altercation in that scenario.

I'd still rather see Brady taken out because they've made this season a deliberate campaign to make him #1 in every single-season QB statistic, and if he gets taken out now the only one he'll get it QB rating, and a lot of people would asterisk that if it's not a complete season.

He'd suspend him for murdering someone on the field. Belichick resurrected Harrison's career, you don't with the Hoodie unless you want #37 running your ass down and beating you senseless.

I guess you thought I was asking a serious question, or missed the Amare joke, or both.

Belichick and Brady were trying to send a message running it up on Washington last week. So why should anyone be upset about the idea of some other team sending a message to the Pats, particularly if they are down late in the game and Brady's still going deep?

    Karma is a .
Actually, Brady is lucky that Joe Gibbs is a class act. Gibbs could have greenlighted Taylor and Landry on a blitz and really put a hurtin' on Brady, and not cared about giving up another TD when the game was already lost...but Gibbs isn't that kind of coach. He even said he had no problem with the Pats running up the score. Of course, there are other coaches in the NFL that may not take the same view. Belichick better be really careful down the stretch with his golden boy.

I will lmao if Brady gets knocked unconscious after running up the score in one of these games.
