either the Chargers lied on their injury report and should be subject to the proper punishment for doing so, OR

LT did indeed fully recover from his hyperextended knee but then sprained his MCL in one of those plays early in the game, which is unlikely since he never once made any display of being in any sort of pain whatsoever, and he rather casually walked off the field for the final time, OR

    he pussed out.

IMO, I feel that he wasn't saying that in a way to exalt himself, but in the sense that the media and fans built him up as being an extremely classy guy, hard worker, etc... and he was apologizing for acting the way he did, considering everyone views him as being this great, classy guy, and aknowledged that he did lose his temper. I feel it was sort of taken out of context, but I don't think he worded it well either.

I've never pulled/stretched/torn an MCL/ACL etc, etc, but I've seen it happen enough to know that an already aggravated knee injury can be damaged by the simplest of movements, like say, slowing up after being at a full sprint.

that's definitely possible, but according to his team doctors and his coach, his knee wasn't injured. he was not on the injury report AT ALL with an injured knee. not even "probable". according to his team, he was 100% healthy.

Ok, and I know this has already been touched on in this thread, but that's not any different then the Pats listing Brady as questionable in every game for like 3 years or some . Either way, the other team is forced to gameplan against a team with/without said threat. It's just head game stuff, the Chargers surely knew that he wasn't going to be 100% and didn't want the Pats to know and therefore, even threw him in there to start.

It's not like they were videotaping playcalls...................oh.............sorry

Let me follow that up with the fact that I hate the Chargers, LT, and Phillip Rivers, so I'm not trying to justify anything, but LT is not a pussy........physically anyway.

Well if its that big of an issue, then the team should get fined. Although I don't think that failing to include a hurt player on an injury report, when everyone already knew he was hurt, and he started the game, is quite on the level of cheating by recording audio and video of opposing teams playcalls, thus I dont think a half-mil fine and stripping them of a first rounder is necessary.

    they've never done that.

he's listed as probable. probable means "virtual certainty" that he'll play. he's got a chronic shoulder problem but it's never so bad that they've listed him as "questionable" which is "50/50"

They do that to give pats fans a way to make excuses when things go wrong, instead of simply saying that they got beat by a better team. I don't think any Pats loss in the past 4 or 5 years has not had lame excuses surrounding them.

if that's the case, then why not take Rivers off the report as well? Why not list Merriman, Shaun Philips, & Cromartie all as "doubtful" and then spring them on the Pats?

One guy got taken off the injury report. A guy who said himself that he was close to 100%. If they were doing this simply to with the Pats, they didn't do a very good job of it, and they are also subject to whatever punishment is necessary for lying on an injury report.

    What is your point?

First you call him a pussy because he didn't play. Then you say he wasn't injured enough to sit, but if he has surgery you'll forgive him. Now you want to say he was injured, but the Chargers lied about it?

Make up your mind Mono. He can't be a pussy for not being injured and being injured at the same time.

Throughout this thread you have proven you have absolutely no knowledge of injuries and their relation to sports. I am convinced you are just a gamer who's never played a sport.

I've played sports my entire life and have suffered many injuries. Broken both ankles, both wrists, broken arm, split fibula in half, numerous concussions, 15 staples in my head, torn hamstrings, tendons....etc. Am I qualified to comment on sports injuries, yeah, I think so.

What's your worst sports injury, a sprained gaming thumb?

I played against DJ Williams when he went to De La Salle, played against Alex Smith and Reggie Bush when they were at Helix, and also got to play in the all star game with them. So yes, high school level does translate to the NFL.

LT was hurt coming into the game and felt he could play. He either rehurt himself in the first series or realized he couldn't play without hurting his team.

you sure it was sports or you were in Irak.
