Will our franchise ever turn the corner? win the big game?....
Health is the major concern for the Spurs heading into the 2nd half of the season. Being just a game behind in the L column is promising. Get Parker well and narrow the rotation heading into the playoffs.
Being old to me isn't a major concern when the playoffs begin. No B2Bs and this team has enough time to prepare for whoever they face. I'm positive about our chances but I can't stress enough the heatlh issue - if Parker isn't himself and can't penetrate in order to break down the D then we could be in serious trouble. His play is crucial to how we function on the court.

You guys are right... the Spurs use the regular season to experiment and hopefully get healthy.
We'll see what they can do in the playoffs.
Homer.
(that's supposed to be a joke)
I'm feeling inflated.
Bingo.
Whatever happens in the regular season, as long as the Spurs are healthy in the playoffs ... I like their chances.
Oh and the Spurs have a lot of roster flexibility at the trade deadline this year. In fact, they probably have more roster flexibility at the trade deadline than any team in the NBA due to the $15M+ in expiring contracts. As we saw with the Pau Gasol trade, expiring contracts are worth their weight in gold in the modern day NBA. The question will be whether the Spurs want to use some of those assets to help now and/or in the future or whether the Spurs will try to win it all one more time with what they've got.
This upcoming summer the Spurs have the full MLE to spend and won't have to worry much about the luxury threshold for the first time in a long time.
You see this, timvp?:
LOS ANGELES -- Influential Southern rapper Pimp C died of an accidental overdose of a combination of drugs he had named in his lyrics — codeine and promethazine, the county coroner's office ruled Monday.
P.S.
Spurs are cool.
With Udoka being the missing small ball 4, and Parker getting shut down and resting and coming back 100% for the playoffs, I don't think theres a team that can beat the Spurs in a 7 game series.
NO ONE.
