What does it really matter if the Spurs are defined as a dynasty or not? The history books will always show that they've won 4 les in 9 years and that may not be the end of the story. If someone gives that the name "dynasty" does it really change the significance of the accomplishment or the fact that it occurred? Dynasty is nothing more than a label -- and obviously not one that comes with a consistent definition.

If you have proper education, you will learn that a sequence does not need to mean consecutive or successive years. 3, 5, 7 is a sequence.

If you learned Mathematics correctly, they would say the longest increasing sequence in (1, 7, 4, 6, 9) is (1, 4, 6, 9).

Do not confuse sequence with the word consecutive or successive. Also series is never meant to mean consecutive or successive terms.
