he was basically my favorite player because when I go to games I wear that jersey and people give me so much shot for paying 50 bucks to get a Newble jersey made. So basically I just stick up for Newble and act like I really think he is the best baller on the team and everyone else doesn't know a good basketball player when they see him. I basically just got heckled by the fans of the team I root for.....but he sucks, and now I can let my guard down and admit that

Cavs are fools. Ben Wallace is getting paid per $15million to average 5pts and 8 boards. And how are Wallace and Ilgauskas going to play together?

Wallace can play the 4, which would suit him better.

lucky we are done with the Cavs this year. I think the Rockets is the first western conference team that swept the Cavs in their season series?
I thought the Suns went 2-0 this year too.

Paxson has officially lost his damn mind. Joe and Duhon have been the only consistent players this year, well Joe anyway but Duhon improved with all the injuries.
    lehyoe gets some help, whoopee!

I love reading Bulls' fan's comments on their board about how dumb the Cavs are for this trade, and how big of a bust Ben Wallace was...but Ben is what he is. He doesn't score, he might airball free throws, but he plays great defense. I work with a guy that is an idiot (actually a few), and when he heard the trade he was trying to tell me how the Cavs are idiots because Wallace averages 3 points a game and Gooden averages 11. It's like people only look at points as what your value is.

The only bad thing for Cleveland is that if this doesn't work out they are screwed for the future.

Well for cleveland if they had waited they would of had cap space available to them in the next couple of years, to sign something. But to be honest Lebron wanted help, and he was begining to vocalize it. I think they did it more so to help Lebron. I think for the short term its good for them. I dont think its a bad trade for them at all, but they could of quite possibly been able to do better down the line.

Cleveland pretty much had to do this.

They weren't gonna make the eastern finals with that team.

Now IMO, they can beat the Pistons and the Celtics with this lineup.

Cavs still have over 20mil in expirings next year with Snow, Szczerbiak, and Damon Jones. Never would have had significant cap space even if they didn't trade.

NO WAY they can beat the pistons or celtics with that lineup.
They just had to shake things up to make Lebron happy.

You are right i stand corrected.

So now with Daniel Gibsons contract is expiring after this year (unrestricted free agent), so do you see the cavs trying to resign him?

Yes, they will resign and i can't see him leaving Cleveland. No team can offer more than MLE for him. I got he feeling they have rights to match anything.

right because the Cavs didn't beat the Pistons last year with basically 2 guys. I love how people just forget that the Cavs actually won the Eastern Conference last year. THEY DID BEAT THE PISTONS. They didn't lose anyone that helped them do that. This isn't a Suns thing where they have never beaten anyone of significance in the playoffs, the Cavs can beat the Pistons because it has already happened.

Bulls got the better of that deal. How soon before Wallace is complaining about lack of touches and Wally is calling timeouts when the team is out? Delonte West does not scare anyone. Bad move by the Cavs. Now when Wallace is in the game you can double up on LeBron.
